Always an awesome experience whenever come here to have food. Whatever tou eat here is just tasty and has a very good fan base. We went down there for a nice brunch wherein we had ordered Idli, Vada, Chole Bhature, Upma, Masala Dosa, Veg Cheese Sandwich & Coffee. The best thing is piping hot Sambar which you can get again on request. I have been having for most of my childhood the South Indian food at ICH outlets where ever my father was posted for his job. The taste & quality of food has been maintained across all outlets Pan-India for ages. The taste which I remember from my childhood across various outlets and now are unchanged which itself is bold statement for their success.
The nostalgic restaurant of every Keralite. Happy to visit the Indian Coffee House in Bangalore. Food : Food is good with lots of options. We tried the iconic Masala Dosa and Chicken cutlet. Chicken cutlet is too big, 2-3 people can share one. Masala Dosa was good. Service : Good Ambience: Neat and clean environment. Other facilities: Parking space for 2 wheelers is available.
Visited on my last day in bangalore for a quick lunch. This is a very famous old chain and has branches all over India It's not any fancy restaurant. Has very basic ambience. It's very old-school big sofa seats. Food is always good here, i tried the masala rava dosa and ended up with tutti fruity ice cream. Service at this place can be hit and miss, i had to wait over 15 minutes to order when the restaurant was not even 50% occupied. Overall, recommended for a nice easy lunch/dinner place.
We had a good experience at the Indian Coffee house near, Jyoti Nivas college. The eatery is very clean and tidy. The food tasted average, but pricing was competitive and service was prompt.
Most recommended : Appam and Egg Curry Appam is soft and tasty. I have had both egg curry and roast, I suggest you go with curry. You get to add 2 more eggs at barely around 30 rupees. Best value for money meal you could find at the heart of koramangala( the circle where most costly restaurants are located). Apt brunch / breakfast spot for South Indian food lovers. You can also find a wide variety of authentic south indian dishes. Order a coffee once you finish your meal, and thank me later. Welcoming to families, couples and bachelors. Decent seating and polite service, well they are known for it. Private parking space for both four wheelers and two wheelers are available.
This place is a hidden gem. The South Indian food here gives homely feeling specially the sambhar and chutney. Tea is adorable, chole bhature is good, dosas are decent, Chinese items are also good, had paneer 65, it was quite delicious. Pricing is not on the higher side, above average I would say. Had dum aloo kashmiri, chapati, parotta, aloo Paratha. All worth it, taste,. portion, everything top notch. Update: Tried Chinese mix veg noodles, and paneer chilli. Both were tasty and portion was also decent. I'm becoming very fond of this place. Overall the place is worth it.
Here is the classic Indian Coffee House. Indian Coffee Houses are run by their employees and it was established in 1958 by Shri. AK Gopalan, the first opposition leader of Indian Parliament. They offer all vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, including Dosa and Rice varieties. This restaurant in Koramangala is operated from Jyoti Nivas College road in 5th Block.
This place has my heart , classic old school breakfast makes you feel nostalgic . Good serving portion. Come with your friends and enjoy the delights.
