Indian Coffee House - South Indian restaurant in Malviya Nagar, Durg - Durg, India

This place is only overhyped because of South Indian items like dosa,idly and biryani. Other items on the menu are so below average which taste pathetic and the price they charge will make you feel like you will never visit them again, I ordered navratan biryani and it didn't had dry fruits, just had a handful of veggies and fruits, in item like paneer bhurji they just diced paneer finely and sauted with tomato with minimal spice which tasted so bad, even their basic tava roti was hard and butter was not even spread the both side, the other main course sabji was very oily and nothing special as what they charged, paneer chilly being the most expensive item in my order was also awful, heavily coated and soggy. Messed up my mood so bad, felt like some ordinary home cook prepared my order. Only the Service is appreciable.

Indian Coffee House has been our family's favorite restaurant since childhood. They excel in offering the finest South Indian cuisine, thoughtfully tailored for the North Indian palate. This is my third location in Durg-Bhilai region to an ICH branch, with previous visits to Supela and Sector 10. I cherish their delectable South Indian dishes like Idly and Dosa, and my all-time favorite is their rich black filter coffee. Additionally, they provide affordable raw coffee powder, which I've been using for a while. It's truly a treasure for coffee enthusiasts.

I had a disappointing experience at the Indian Coffee House. The thali we ordered lacked flavor, and unfortunately, both my friend and I experienced stomach upset afterward. I wouldn't recommend opting for the thali.

Just Amazing experience.located just opposite to Durg railway station. Having easy visibility.On reception people are not very much comfortable with Hindi,it could lead to a little problem for only hindi speakers.All the staff is well behaved trained Can enjoy a 3 star hotel experience here

Tea and coffee is good and in this restaurant you must try South Indian dishes. Here also you can buy pure coffee powder.

Masala dosa was crisp, flavourful with spiced seasoned potatoes stuffed in it, served with Coconut chutney and Sambar. Chutney was delicious.. Sambhar could have been better (excess Hing taste) Overall loved the taste, must try
