Recently went there for a family dinner and it became one splendid memory for all of us. It was little crowded festive evening still we only had to wait for a while to get seats. We all enjoyed our whole meal (didn't even get scope to leave our hand-mouth work and snap them all), however, star of the evening was chicken bharta. One of the most delicious dishes I had in a while.

India Restaurant in Kaikhali is a must go place for food lovers. Quality & Quantity of food is totally justified. Ambience and interiors were good also. Situated just beside Kaikhali more, well connected area.

I am very upset with this brunch. Previously i ordered online that was nice. But this time it's just the worst in every aspect. 1st the service person, he doesn't have any sense of the dish, We ordered Mutton Boti Kebab, no taste of Mutton, it's tasteless, less cooked, full of marination. It tastes like grass. Mutton Boti kabab 1 star only. Now comes Awahadi Biriyani. What to say.. no flavour, no taste, only we feel salty. And mutton pieces don't ask me, even the road side biriyani shop in Kestopur gives much more quality mutton than this. This dish got 0 star. It feels that we ate our rupees and came back home. Only the kabab chatni is good.

We tried Mutton Biryani, as per price Biryani quality was average quantity is okay, mutton pice was very good. Also tried chicken butter masala, as per price this was really good. Staff behavior and services are very good. Restaurant atmosphere is nice. All over Good Experience

I recently dined at an Indian restaurant in Kolkata, and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was truly premium, creating a top-notch dining atmosphere. The building is 5 storied. We were taken into the second floor seating area. The people were cordial and polite. We ordered tandoori chicken legs, chicken biriyani, mutton biriyani, mutton chaap and rumali roti. The taste was great and they also served on time. The biriyani amount is hefty and people with small appetite might want to share. All in all it was a great experience.

The starter items were really good, especially Fish Tikka(Basa fish). But the taste was amazing, further to add to it, the ambience was great as usual, and the chicken tandoor was tasty and juicy as well. The mutton biryani(special) was standard and the finishing touch of butter naan and chicken butter tikka masala added a diamond craving to the already fabulous dinner. India restaurant never fails to disappoint.

On the recommendation of a friend, one fine day me and my family landed in India Restaurant Kaikhali. The main and popular branch is located at Kidderpore. They have a parking space near the restaurant. We went straight ahead to the 1st floor. There were sitting arrangements of more than 30 people. We took a seat at a corner table. The designed menu card was awesome. It tells the history of India Restaurant. It is among the top 5 Biriyani sellers in Kolkata. So I had high expectations. Then I asked the service guy for kebabs and found out most of the kebabs are not available. The time was 1.30 PM. As he insisted, we ordered Peshwari and Reshmi Kebabs. In the main course, we ordered Biryani, Mixed Raita, Chicken Gravy Dish (Probably Chicken Achari) and Firni. The kebabs got served after 20 minutes. The taste was not up to the mark. Expectations not met. Both the kebabs taste similar. Seems like they were in a hurry. Then came Biryani with chicken gravy. Special Mutton Biryani comes with an egg and 2 meat pieces. Biriyani tastes awesome. Typical Kolkata Biryani. Chicken gravy item disappointed. Not perfectly boiled chicken pieces with spicy gravy was very difficult to eat. Somehow we managed to finish our meal. Unexpectedly the Raita won my heart. It was THE finest item I had that day. Same goes to the Firni. It was also good. My favorites that day were Mixed Raita, Firni and Biryani. I thought to give the restaurant a poor rating because of the kebabs and Chicken Achari I had but I changed my mind for Raita, Biryani and Firni. Recommendations: If you ever plan to go there then do try Mixed Raita and Firni along with Biryani.
