India Gate in Delhi is a majestic war memorial, an iconic landmark that stands tall with historical significance. The intricately designed arch commemorates soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War I. The atmosphere is both serene and patriotic, perfect for a reflective stroll. Lit up beautifully at night, it offers a mesmerizing view. Nearby lawns provide a peaceful retreat, ideal for picnics or just lounging. The surrounding area boasts delectable street food, adding to the overall experience. A must-visit destination for history enthusiasts, families, and anyone seeking a blend of culture, history, and leisure in the heart of Delhi.
A really good place with a history. This place is great with kids and family to spend some spare time and enjoy like doing picnic. The place is free of cost to enter. Just be ready to walk a bit as there is plenty to walk to reach the India gate. But the place is beautiful after the renovation. So can't complain. Just be sure to read the details about the renovation done and the change from Raj path to Karthavya path. This is displayed in the underground walkway near the India gate. Enjoy your time here

The ambiance around the gate is lively, with families and tourists enjoying the beautifully maintained gardens and the memorial's significance. It's a must-visit landmark offering a glimpse into India's rich heritage and a perfect spot for an evening stroll or a moment of reflection. We went two times , once during night and another during day. I will say night time view was better as, you will only find hazy pollution during day time.
