If you want to know how to pay tribute to your martyr please visit this place which is dedicated to 2nd world war martyrs . Very well maintained by britishers. Stone dedicated to every soldier with there name age n unit , some of them were as young as 19 yrs.some of them are indians too

The cemetery has 1,600 burials of the 2nd World War and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. The Cemetery remains open every day between 09:00-4:30 (Summer Schedule) and 09:00-4:00 (Winter Schedule). It's the resting ground of the soldiers who lost their lives in the battle against Japanese forces during World War II.

A very well maintained war memorial and makes for a good stop in your day tour of Imphal city. Its a small stop and doesn't take much time for visiting.

Had a bad incident! A random goon or miscreants approach while we are enjoying the historic beautiful. Seems like he a local residents who is a drunk and crazy person. Without any consent the guy approach us and started charging us, wanting to pick a fight with us. It was wonderful because we didn't do anything against the guy whether it be speech or act. So I think it will be good if the authority provides some local police to patrol the area and prevent entry to such person. There was a guard but he couldn't take any action as the guy was accompanied by five friends. It was good that we didn't fight but overall it's very disturbing. I request the authority to do something against such acts and hope such incident doesn't happen to any visitor again. Afterall the cemetery is well maintained. It's a small area but the place is clean and serene. Good for recreation. Thank you. 24/04/2022(Sunday)

Peace n serenity thrives in every inch of this quite place where the mortal remains of world war soldiers are laid to rest. I still remember the times during our high school years n college years, when we used to visit this place with friends. Its as if time has stood still here for all the eternity to come, while the world around changes at a dangerously fast pace

Very informative place about WW-2 , quite and well maintained War memorial with hundreds of grave stones with names on it. If you are in Imphal please don't miss this place, spending few hours in this war memorial is definitely not a waste of time. Not very far from city centre itself. Don't forget to click few snaps too while you are there.
