A French style catholic Church which is quite close to the White town. This is a huge church located quite close to the centre of the town. The architecture of the facade looks different to other churches I've seen and is painted mostly in yellow, white and bits of blue. The interior is also quite well decorated and the prayer hall is one of the biggest I've ever seen

One of the three major churches with beautiful ceilings and architecture in Pondicherry worth seeing. Immaculate conception church is located in the midst of bustling Mission St. The chapel is much smaller than the other two churches but the ceiling above the altar has some great Christian artwork. As with all other churches in Pondicherry, the architecture is very Gothic and imposing. It's considered respectful to remove footwear before entering the chapel. Definitely worth visiting!

The Immaculate Conception Cathedral present in Pondicherry is pretty much similar to the Immaculate Conception Cathedral present in France. The church was built in 1791 and still looks at its best.
