Good Staff gave a brief information about the procedure
Specialists are great and quite qualified but the hospital lacks good quality infrastructure to support the doctors. The general doctors are too limited by the availability of the medicine in their pharmacy and hence end up treated almost every other flu like symptoms with the exact same medicine which starts to loose its effectiveness. Staff is great and quite helpful and caring. And free Wi-Fi so no waiting woes.
The extension of the old building towards the lakeside is much more arranged with separate OPD sections, emergency and medicine facilities. It's moderately clean, the staffs have food behaviour. My personal experience was good at an emergency at night. The medicines the prescribe are sometime routine.
I have studied from this campus and i know every corner of this campus..... This hospital is no less risky than any other govt hospital...it has basic facilities cuz it's inside IIT campus , the hospital is mostly occupied by the residential staff's family n docs n nurses may look very helpful n cool ...but don't go there for anything more than cold, fever n pink slip if required ..... @ for students Yes the building on the hospital is good and place is kept very clean and yes they have ambulance facility.
For an internal hospital in a college, IIT hospital is surprisingly well stocked and equipped, with multiple doctors and beds and availability of even specialists like cardiologists etc. The hospital has its own pathology lab, its own X-ray, Ultrasound scanner etc. The hospital is well equipped for most of the needs of IITIANS. Plus the doctors have served here for long and understand and empathize with the students.
Hospital has very polite staff. Well equipped with all the necessary facilities. Specialists visits are also arranged regularly. One can trust the treatment confidently.
Good hospital compare with other hospitals.It is situated at very calm and peaceful area, 24*7 hospitality available for intitute's residents , ambulance also provides for pickup and drop, specialists also visited here. Overall it is very good for intitute's residents.
Most of the doctors are quite dedicated and caring. Hospital services are good as well.
