The kirtistambh is the glory of nawabs of palanpur. It constructed in 1918 in palanpur near railway station by Nawab Taley Mohammed khan. At that time the total cost of construction is around Rs. 40000. The kirtistambh was inaugurated by the great general sir Gangasinghji, The Maharaja of Bikaner.
Today it is a sturdy symbol of the palanpur's glory and history.
It's situated at heart of the city, very near to bus station, railway station, and city Market and near by pataleshwer temple.
Saluting the glory of the Nawabs of Palanpur is the Kirti Stambh, a tall pillar constructed near the railway station in 1918 by Nawab Shri Taley Mohammed Khan to commemorate the gallantry of Shri Sher Mohammed Khan. It was constructed under the supervision of the then Public Works Officer Saiyed Gulab Miyan Abdumiyan, and the total cost was Rs.40,000.
Today, it is a glory of city and provides a Record of Palanpur's evolution, with the list Of the rulers of jhalore and Palanpur being Engraved on it. It was inaugurated by the Maharaja of bikaner.

Better than some other area of palanpur. It is near to railway junction and local bus station of palanpur. Almost neat place. You will find some breakfast and fastfood stall here. The gate of kirtistambh is almost always closed but well maintained place. There is also historical place named 'pataleshwar mahadev temple' next to it. If you get exhausted of traffic noise and congestion of city you can come here and sit for sometimes tk relax, not only at night but even at the broad day light.
After consulting several hospitals, but I was not satisfied. I've consulted Dr Atul Patel, and my all queries were answered with very calm nature.
His behaviour and treatment approach is outstanding. A big thumbs up for him.
Chinese food is highly recommended. Overall the food is quite tasty. Service is also good and ofcourse you should not miss the tasty deserts they have...
