Idly Virundhu - Indian restaurant in New Siddhapudur, Coimbatore - Coimbatore, India

An amazing place which is like a hidden treasure. Though it is normal breakfast items, the little changes and variety gives the food extra taste. Love their variety of sevais- mainly egg sevai and tomato sevai which are a must try. Their podi idly is also amazing. There is always rush in this place.

A nice trendy food option brought up from the traditional food is the success of the hotel. They really taste good and are given a variety of options to taste. They do offer a variety of home made cookies and pastries.

A small place but the quality of the food is great. Good varieties of Idli and Seva. Their cakes are very good.

Tattu Idli at this place is hot, soft, and sprinkled with podi and ghee. However, the regular idlis were not up to par and lacked heat. The plain Dosa took approximately 15 to 20 minutes, while the egg Idli took almost half an hour. Unfortunately, the sambar was not hot and appeared to be two days old. Overall, I found this place to be overhyped and it did not meet my expectations. If you plan on visiting this place, I recommend trying the Tattu Idli, as it seems to be the standout item worth trying.

This is just another average shop which you can try if you're in gandhipuram and one of the suggested places to eat in gandhipuram if you're going to travel.. One good thing about this restaurant is they don't add any food flavours.. I tried their wheat parotta which is highly not recommended.. Their service is very slow I don't know the reason.. as just a simple chutney can't take more than 10-15 min to be bought to the dinning table We tried their ghee roast but it was not worth it... Then we tried idiyappam for which we got coconut milk.. Kara paniyaram was good.. Thata idly could have sprinkled more gun powder with ghee .. But the only recommended dish here is the garlic dosa .. which is really worth a try here.. We also tried their plum cake which tasted really good like that garlic dosa... We also tried their tomato appam not so great

If you're in search of an authentic South Indian culinary experience, look no further than Idly Virundhu. I have tried thattu Idly and mushroom Idly Kothu. Thattu Idly is very soft and tastes awesome. Lot of Idly varieties available. Must try place

Small and neat place in gandhipuram for a good idli , dosa and other varieties.... Loved their food Tried Thattu idli - was good with their groundnut chutney combo.they provide two varieties of chutney and sambar Appam - it was good as well.. served with coconut milk and kadala curry... Kadala curry didn't feel like it was very tasty Must visit place.... Mostly crowded...

This hotel is in Siddhapudur with seating capacity of 25-30 people. Dine in is fine compared to getting parcels because parcels takes a lot of time to get it done due to online orders too. The menu was good with lots of varieties of Idly, sevai, dosas, parotas. I felt the cost of idly varieties is high for the quantity they provide. Taste wise everything was fine and good. There was no coconut chutney today instead there was groundnut and one more chutney. We tried pepper and tomato idly and vadacurry dosa and a thattu idly which was really tasty.
