Idli Kada - Vegetarian restaurant in Kochi - Ernakulam, India

recently had the pleasure of dining at IDLI KADA The food was not so delicious but it's worth for the money you pay. The shop has a banner saying that it's completely vegetarian but they sell non veg items also. Try visiting this place at 6 pm because you will get hot crispy crunchy Vada and pakodas Vada along with sambar and two types of Chutneys Egg Fried rice, noodles, biriyani, Dosas and Idlis are also available here. Food is really affordable here Small dining space and the shop is situated in a busy area Worth visiting if you are really hungry and have a small budget.

A good place to have breakfast. Not recommended as a family restaurant. One can visit this place either alone or with friends. The atmosphere in this place might not be suitable for people visiting with family members. There is constant rush in the mornings as this is one of the best hotels in demand by the people locally as this serves good food at the best price. All the items in the menu are very economical and pocket-friendly. The waiters are always busy in the morning. The food served might take a little time to get prepared due to the early morning rush. Hygiene is not too good but it is very much manageable by most of the people here but may not be liked by an outsider. Even though the name suggests vegetarian, this hotel is not purely vegetarian. It is moreover an eggerian restaurant too. They serve various egg items here. There is no parking space as it is on the side of the National Highway. However parking can be done at the sole risk of the owner. Food is good. Cannot describe it as best in class but for the price paid the food served is worth it. Overall this is a good restaurant for your hungry tummy in the mornings.

My experience at Mall Idli Dosha vegetarian restaurant was mixed. The idlis and dosas were tasty, but the overall menu lacked variety. Service was decent, and the ambiance was clean but a bit plain. While it's a suitable place for a quick vegetarian meal, I believe there are other restaurants offering more diverse options in the area.

Average....Ambience Is Nice But Food Is Not Better Than I Expected... Chammadhi Was Not Fresh & Sambar Not Good... Dosa Good & I Ordered Egg Biriyani

My personal favourite for quiet some time now. I'm coming here with my friends atleast once in a week, and this is one of our favourite chilling spot to have some fun and food. The shop is located near to Kalamassery Metro Station and it's a small shop but still can afford like 15-20 customers at a time. We usually buy Masala Dosa, Ghee Dosa, Puri set, Omelette, Snacks (which includes uzhunnuvada, parippuvada, ullivada, pazhampori, Egg baji etc. to name a few), tea, coffee, boost, juice and all. Also we tried veg noodles and veg biriyani once from here which also served good. The shop serves us good food under best price. The only problem we face is parking as the shop does not have parking lot as it is located next to main road itself. Bikes may find some space, but for cars it's a tedious process to find enough space. Overall, I've been coming to this place for more than 2-3 years and still whenever we (friends) come together, we still go to this place when feeling to have a good Dosa.

The food here is below average. You'll find your typical dosa menu and some special dosas which I suggest to stay away from cause it's not worth it. Not really bang for the buck either.

Great place to have vegetarian breakfast. They have wide variety of dishes available. All at reasonable price. The dining space is limited. If there is a rush then you'll have to wait for sometime to get a table. Have had dosa, vada, uthappam etc. All were tasty. I had nothing to complain about.

Eggetarian restaurant on the main road. Tried Masala Roast, it was good with less oil. The sambar provided was good too. Didn't try the chutneys though. Iddli and dosa price are very economical.
