Authentic parsi food . We tried mutton cutlet gravy with bread, Mutton boti Salli, Bery Bery mutton pulao, lagan nu custer (sweet) , bun maska and tea. Food tastes good . Service is fast . Quantity of food (one dish) is sufficient for one. They accept payment in cash only.

Visited #idealcorner for the workshop organised by #Kgaf. The workshop was conducted by food anthropologist "Kurush Dalal". The workshop was incredibly good & it gave us in-depth knowledge of how the Irani cafes started in Mumbai. Influence of parsi cuisine & also how was Bombay in yester years. The workshop was inclusive of snacks. They were served continuously. Parsi choi, bun maska. Delicious. Akuri on fluffy crispy khari, yum. Mutton kheema on khari, yum again. Then those tasty sandwiches - chutney sandwich & chicken sandwich. Both were stellar. Bread quality was superlative. So soft & tasty. The chicken sandwich was moreish. As a token of love, the ideal corner team also packed us some #LaganNuCustard which was delish too. Yes it's far from my residence however I look forward to visiting this place soon again

A beautiful Sunday A relaxed lunch, few weeks ago at Ideal Corner Restaurant - A deep relationship with #bikes. Aspy loves the food of this place for many years. A popular authentic #Parsi cuisine restaurant is the #Fort area, South Mumbai. Ideal Corner Restaurant 12/F/G Hornby View Building Rustom Sidhwa Marg Near Fort fire brigade Near post office Mumbai Maharashtra - 400001 Enjoyed the authentic Parsi dishes - Mutton Dhansak Bombil fish fry (Boomlas as called by Parsees) Eggs with pav And Raspberry soda A non-AC restaurant A huge bike is kept in the restaurant This is more than 30 years old restaurant Way back in 1970s - this place used to be the retail & servicing outlet for Ideal Java Pvt Ltd, an iconic company during those days. Which later became Yezdi. When the bike business gone done, the owner started this Parsi restaurant. Ideal Corner Restaurant is situated near - Godavara Gamadia Agiary Borabazar Precinct, Ballard Estate, Fort. This is the oldest Parsi Fire temple can be found on Banaji Lane, behind Flora fountain.

Irani cafes have become my go to these days and this place has being ticked off my bucket list. The restaurant is situated at a curbside. The seating arrangement is cozy and comfortable! I had ordered the Chicken Salli with pav and the chicken was nice and tender. The mutton kebabs were the best part of the whole meal. On top of that, had ordered Ice cream soda and Bread pudding for dessert. This place is a must visit!

We ordered a takeaway meal . Everything we tried was fresh and delicious- Mutton Salli Pav , Chicken Dhanshak, Patrani Machi, lagan custard, Bun Maska , Soda . I called on their number and the staff promptly took my order . Soon I got a call from Mr Parvez who carefully verified my order .They had packed it promptly and thoughtfully in a big carton as it had to be delivered from Fort to Navi Mumbai in heavy rains. For me , it's the service and their effort that made this meal so much memorable . Food was as authentically Parsi as it can be. Would love to dine in here someday!

Is it the best place for Parsi food? Not at all, but considering this is a simple no-fuss place, I will keep returning to it for tasty food, prompt service, a clean and hygienic environment, nice decor and a constantly rotating menu

Loved this restaurant as the staff helped us to choose what to eat. Clean and hygiene is observed.

Just at a corner, of Hornby View building. Age Old restaurant serving authentic Parsi cuisine. Interiors are average. We tried their, 1) Atheli Chicken Masala Potato (thick gravy, available only on Tuesdays) 2) Sali Kheema (kheema with sali on top) 3) Fried Bheja (dry, in an egg) 4) Patra Fish (Rawas, Green Masala and dry) 5) Lagan Nu Custard (Parsi Special Custard) 6) (Prem) Chocolate Mousse (just just amazing, so rich, so dense, so full of flavour) 7) Bread Pudding Food is lovely and service is very fast and with a smile. Rates are very reasonable.
