Iddli Kada(pilllleecch iddddli ktt ) - Fast food restaurant in Changanassery - Kottayam, India

I had an experience of having sour idli's from there. The egg curry and kadala curry felt average. The coffee was good. Have travelled almost 50km, only believing in getting good food. But it wasn't worth. It won't be worth even Idli's were good. Overall average experience. But the chechi there humbly admitted the fault

Homely idly. Tastes good. Its better to go by 8 to get hot idlys. I went by 9 and idlys were cold but taste wise was really nice. Kadala curry also tastes good.

Went there with my friends after they had given much hype about the place. They had gone there the previous day and had a pleasant experience. They really loved the food and they decided to take me with them the next day. We reached there after 10 in the morning, by that time the morning rush was over and we were the only people there. Maybe we got the last of the idlis, even my friends were quite disappointed. They loved the food that was served the previous so much that they were expecting the same the next day.. It might be a one-off-experience, so I'm not holding it against them. The idlis were quite dry and hard. The tea was pretty decent. The aunty and chetan, who served our food is simple and pleasant. Will try the place again and update the post. PS: I am a student living in the hostel, so I keep my expectations for food pretty low. The idlis they served that day was kinda worse than the idlis served in our hostel.

Nice food But quantity is very less. Idli looks like a rupee coin.

Super breakfast especially Vada,idly,egg roast,kadala curry combination........ homely food

A really small place with warm welcome and steaming hot soft yummy idlis with egg roast and black chana curry ,yummy coconut chutney and dont forget to ask them for their red chilly chutney! Their idlys are the best...

The rightly famous "iddly kada" ( the iddli shop) where you can have your fill of soft idlis with a unique flavour. The small eatery can't seat many, but they make it up with the hundreds of packets they dispense in a typical forenoon. The founder/owner "iddli Pillai" is no more, but his kin continue the tradition of great flavour. It is right opposite the government complex and near the Pazhaya Palli mosque. A must visit place if the traditional flavours of a locality matter to you...

Idly is ok. Kadal curry worst.... Bad food experience....
