IDC in R.S puram is a bangalore based franchised restaurant with typical karnataka style Dosa and Sambhar. The service is good and car parking is available in front of the restaurant. We ordered ghee podi idly which was more like Thatte idli and they gave extra ghee when asked. The Dosa was good but a bit sweet. The poori was good as well. The place was but expensive for a basic breakfast place. We reached the place around 9.00 am and they didn't have mini tiffin. And by 9.15am they wanted us to completely order since they were closing the kitchen. The coffee literally costed 30 some rupees. It is the expensive basic Filter coffee I have had in colony recently and not worth it at all. The ambience was good and the people were kind.

I recently had breakfast at IDC Kitchen and had a wonderful experience that I'd like to share. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the homely ambiance and attentive service. The menu offered a diverse range of breakfast options mainly Idilis & Dosas, and I was delighted by the delicious Karnataka flavors. They have open serving area adjacent to the kitchen which is very hygienic. The service was exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were happy to answer any questions and make recommendations. The timing of the courses was just right, and I never felt rushed or ignored. I would highly recommend IDC to anyone who likes to have South Indian food with Karnataka Flavours.
Undoubtedly one of the best vegetarian restaurants in town. It is especially famous for the breakfast. I personally would recommend their ghee masala dosa, ghee podi khara bath and filter coffee. The ghee masala dosa is just a blast of flavors with the taste of ghee; ghee podi khara bath just melts in the mouth witht he ultimate flavor of ghee and a cup of strong filter coffee would give it the best finish and satisfaction of having a typical "south indian breakfast". Try them for at least once, especially if you love the flavour of desi ghee and thank me later!
The IDC Kitchen can be found in the RS Puram area, and its interior design is visually pleasing. The dining area is immaculately clean, and the service provided is highly professional. The food served is also delicious, leaving a desire to revisit the restaurant again in the future.
Just awesome but an expensive one. Visiting on a relaxed day is definitely worth it !! Authentic South Indian food which is extremely tasty but loaded with calories (cuz everything's drowned in ghee). Definitely the best option to go for your cheat meals
Great place, ambience, food and service. Top awesome things : Mysore Masala Dosa, Coffee And super service. The chutney platter is on each table and food was lip smacking good and reminded me of Bangalore.
They have got a variety of dishes to try from. All tastes good. They are a bit pricey for the quantity offered. Podi thattu idly was very good. Chutney has lost its taste compared to their initial days Ambience is good. They have to buck up on the hygiene. Hand Wash area is just not clean. Ample parking space for bike. Car parking is a challenge. Quick service.

Located just opposite to Coimbatore Junction railway station. So if you are searching for a family restaurant nearby railway station, it will be a good choice. Food taste is good and prices are pretty decent. Both veg and non veg were tasty.
