This shop has the name "Golden Arcade" out front. That is befitting as it enriches its proprietors at the expense of foreign visitors. Absolute scam and unethical selling strategies. We were part of a guided tour and the guide and driver took us to this shop while we hadn't even asked to visit it (we instead had asked to visit an open market). The sellers were very aggressive, insisting we buy things even though we told them we didn't have time. We later learned from locals that we paid double the price for the items we bought; they took advantage of our ignorance of prices. The sellers told us that the shop was "government-owned" but we later learned that there were no such things as "government-owned" shops and that this was a common strategy to make tourists believe that the prices are legitimate. We also later learned that the guide probably earned a commission from the sale of the items. DO NOT GO THERE!!!

One of the best jewellery shopping arcade in Delhi. The workmanship is exquisite, I am extremely happy with the design and quality of my necklace and ring i purchased. I adore my experience, would love to visit again! Keep up the good work!

Buyer beware! Tour guides bring tourists here to get scammed. I was one of them. Got diamond earrings for 120,000inr discounted from 170,000inr after getting caught up in Diwali etc. I ended up messaging a very reputable diamond wholesaler in my hometown of Melbourne about the price and he said I overpaid it should have been 40,000inr IF they were good diamonds. We went to a great valuer and he showed me in the magnifier that they were terrible quality, worst he'd seen and valued them at 10,000inr so we were charged roughly 12x their value (valuation attached). There were so many red flags I was a bit embarrassed by it. Our tour manager (not the guide) helped us get a full refund. Avoid at all costs.

Guided tours will drop you off here. They start by telling you history of the shop and getting friendly, then offering you alcohol. The rum is good, they are very pushy and start with the most expensive stuff above 100 000 INR, most of the stuff is probably more expensive there than you can find elsewhere, but not to the extreme for the more reasonably priced stuff. They show you a lot of interesting stuff if you can resist buying stuff you don't want.

What a sought out collection. Really good pieces at amazing rates. And such a smooth customer experience . The store people are really warm and nice. Took my nri relatives and they still ask me to pick their stuff from Golden Arcade.

Best experience! Amazing collection of Pashmina shawls and carpets... plus jewelleries, your one stop shop. Must visit when in Delhi. Ask for Mehar Singh, one of the nicest person.

Amazing place to pick up antiques and fine jewelry. Loved the collection of pashminas as well. The owner Mehar was very hospitable and helpful!
