We were 3 families who visited this place.Beautiful place, located in the most scenic surroundings. Food is very good. Mr.Dhananjay the care taker and his team are very helpful,polite and give good service. Had a comfortable stay.

If you are going with your family think twice. Me and my family stayed in the resort, location is nice, superb climate but they give first preference to bachelors they drink and dance in front of rooms even the resort managers also dancing with them very bad experience we have.

We stayed at the resort for two days and really enjoyed our stay. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. We want to thank Dhananjay and his team specifically for all the help during the stay. Special thanks to Sivakumar manager for the arrangements and coordination during the booking of this stay. A memorable and awesome experience.

Really an amazing experience it was during the stay. We were 20 people (cousins) and family.. We stayed in 5 rooms and they were spacious enough to Accommodate. Food was Really good like a home Food. You cannot find such a tasty food in that forest area. No issues found during the stay and since this is in a very dense forest area, this would be great place for wildlife and bird lovers. Also, there are no much amenities like swimming pool, kids play area as this is not a luxury resort and this is in a dense forest. No person in the resort had shown either negligence or frustration during our stay. They provide speakers, campfire and al a cart basis food items as well. 3 meals buffet was satisfying very much enough. People who want to stay in a calm and peaceful place in and around Valparai, blindly you can choose this place Mistly Plantation...... If you maintain silence and avoid fire, you can see wild animals easily. But again its based on your luck. Manager Sivakumar and all other staffs are so pleasant in terms of providing hospitality. They supported in all manners and addressed all our requests immediately. They will take you for a trekking as well with a guide. Tats really exciting and wonderful experience. Definitely, this is going to be my favorite and one of my frequently visiting places !!!!

A cozy place nestled between the mountains. rightly named as Mistly as this place is covered by clouds. My visit was in monsoon months so perhaps was lucky to experience the beautiful atmosphere. The property is located about 20 Km from Valparai bus station. You need to take a diversion from the highway about 13 Km short of Valaprai bus station to reach the property, it is about 7 Km from the highway. The drive in the village road gives you fascinating view of the valley below, tea gardens, small streams running down the rocks and to add to all this it was foggy and covered with cloud. Dont forget to stop over at the Thalanaar Valley view point. On a clear sunny day you could see Aliyar dam and other water bodies around Valparai. amazing view. The property is a well maintained place, rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. It has dinning facility with quite a reasonable choices for every meal. They do not serve drink, so you need to make your own arrangements. Wifi connection is available. The staff was very warm and eager to take care of your needs, appreciation to the Manage, Mr. Dhananjai. Chef, and the other two energetic young housekeeping staff were always there to attend. The campfire in the evening was a good experience. Amazing place to stay.

Excellent staff, great homely food, spacious rooms suitable for families & large groups. Borders the Thalanar forest area and offers a good place to relax with some forest views. The place is well maintained, with clean washrooms & the rooms are designed such that they're all connected to each other, making it great for larger groups. (We were a group of 11) A guided Sunrise hike to a nearby hill is also offered as part of the package and is a must try. Additional activities like darts, basketball, skateboard, campfire are also available. The road leading up to the resort from the Valparai highway is extremely scenic with many photo spots in between. The Thalanar Sunset viewpoint is also a must visit.

We found IBEX while wandering in search of peace on Diwali It was a pleasant day for me and all our friends. Kudos to Sivakumar and Management for excellent service

Its a different experience for us to enjoy the beauty of nature around us and the staffs r good and friendly. ambience is neat and clean. Food is too good we enjoyed and even outside excellent spots they show to us. Another memorable place in our memories .
