From the moment I walked into the grand lobby, I was greeted with impeccable service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The spacious and elegantly designed room offered breathtaking views, top-notch amenities, and a bed so comfortable I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The hotel's dining options were equally impressive, with a diverse range of delectable dishes to choose from. I personally liked the positive vibe of Ashvin from the F&B department. He was very approachable and very energetic throughout the day. I would really appreciate his effort to make our stay better. Room Service: However, the positive impression was marred by the disappointing room service. Requests were met with delays, and the overall responsiveness left much to be desired. To make matters worse, a serious incident occurred when my friend's wallet was stolen. Despite reporting the issue promptly, the hotel's response was lackluster, providing minimal attention to the matter. Hotel Facilities: The hotel's facilities, including the dining area and other halls, were noteworthy. These spaces were well-maintained, offering a pleasant environment for various activities. The staff was diligent in ensuring the upkeep of these areas, contributing to the overall ambiance of the hotel. Culinary Experience: Regrettably, the culinary aspect of our stay was a major letdown. The food served at "Tranquil Retreat" fell short of even the most basic standards. Items that should have been culinary delights turned out to be inedible, with naan, roti, and puri being undercooked. Most gravies tasted raw, making dining a disappointing experience. This aspect of our stay significantly impacted our overall satisfaction. Staff: Despite the culinary and room service shortcomings, the staff at "Hycinth" were a redeeming factor. Their caring attitude and prompt assistance in addressing our concerns were appreciated. Their willingness to help and resolve issues added a touch of warmth to an otherwise mixed experience. In conclusion, while "Hycinth" in Kerala offers a comfortable stay with well-maintained facilities and a caring staff, there is significant room for improvement, particularly in the areas of room service and culinary offerings. The management should address these concerns to ensure a more consistently positive experience for future guests.

Excellent service and staff. We, three ladies and a kid, stayed for two nights. Clean, spacious and well maintained room. It's very close to the railway station and center of the city. The hotel staff were amazing, very professional and helpful for all our needs. There's a pool area and gym facility at the top. The breakfast buffet is excellent with varieties from Indian, European, etc. A video of the breakfast buffet is attached in the reviews . We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay.

I recently had a stay in this hotel and I must say that it was one of my best stays ever. Staff here and the food is so good. Exceptional customer service and specially I would like to appreciate Mr. Shankar from the housekeeping department. He was so proactive and helpful throughout the stay. He made sure the service was delivered on time. Really appreciate it!

Excellent hotel. Our family of 4 and a kid went there as part of a function. Rooms are good so as the complimentary breakfast. Buffet lunch spread was also really good. Only bad thing I felt was the bad service for the sadhya after the function. It was short staffed and not well organised. Everything else was amazing. Would definitely prefer staying there again.

We had buffet dinner at the restaurant. We had a fabulous experience. The food was delicious. We were really impressed by the service. We would also specially like to mention Ms.Smiley who actively engaged my kid while we were having dinner. She took my daughter around and even sang songs to her. That was so sweet of her! We would certainly come back!!

It is a good hotel. Rooms are large. It was clean. But could be better managed. Bathroom did not had hand towel as all were sent for washing. There was no toilet paper roll. (May be they provide only on demand). Health faucet was dripping. Electric kettle was not working but they quickly replaced it when told. Breakfast spread was good. Taste of food was acceptable.
