Went for buffet dinner at Malabar cafe. They claim 200+ items which include even edible seeds. Starters were good.. Para kaanthari was awesome. Main course were not up to the expectations. Different flavors of the same item were not so appealing in dessert section.. Nothing stand out in the dishes I have tried from dessert section ..overall experience is just OK..

I recently had the pleasure of of staying at the Hyatt Regency Trivandrum, and it exceeded my expectations. The ambience was good, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent, with helpful and very pleasant staff attending to every need with a kind and warm smile. The room design and facilities were very good, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast and other meals we had at their Malabar Cafe was exceptional. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it easy to access the city's places of interest. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

Had a wonderful lunch at Malabar Cafe on Friday. We were a group of 7 and a baby, celebrating the baby's birthday with a family lunch. The ambience and the food were perfect. The decor is calm and soothing and very pleasing to the eye as attested by my happy baby. She had a lovely time. The cake we ordered was waiting for us at the table, on the dot, and it was one of the best we've had in Trivandrum. But the best part of our experience was how cordial (even affectionate, I must say) and accommodating the staff was. Both my father and father-in-law, who have health issues and related mobility trouble, were made extremely comfortable. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at this property. They have kept up to the standard of Hyatt in every sense ! Spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms !! Very maintained property. Staff is exemplary !! Very polite, courteous and prompt. Would mention all the names if I could remember. Sneha checked us in and was kind enough to change my room even within few hours of checking in as I had requested for twin beds. She actually took the trouble to see us off at the time of check out. The room size is generous I thought. We had a triple occupancy room and it easily fitted an extra bed without having to remove the existing couch. The staff at the main entrance were very prompt and courteous I thought. At all times of the day they greeted us with the same exuberance. The breakfast spread was a treat both visually and to the palate. Chef Praveen was on rounds all morning to check on the Guests. Even the rest of the Staff went out of their way to make us feel special. I would like to compliment the Management for keeping their Staff so happy and positive. Thank you Team Hyatt, for a memorable experience !

Located at the heart of the city. Easy access to all major locations in Trivandrum. Clean rooms with beautiful views. Well behaved staff. The breakfast is mind blowing. The varieties and options for breakfast is commendable. They are all tasty too. All services provided are excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had previously stayed in this hotel when it was run by Taj. Now since Hyatt has taken over it is looking a bit more grand. Rooms and restaurants are well kept. Their staff are all very well spoken and friendly. The complimentary breakfast always had a diverse spread of food! I recommend you to order the Eggs Benedict. The only negative experience we had was sitting at the outside smoking area of the bar near the pool. We literally sat in darkness and the table was not kept clean. Overall, our stay was really really nice and I would sincerely recommend to stay there.

I celebrated my son's birthday in Hyatt, Trivandrum. The hospitality is really poor. The staffs were not really clear about what they were speaking. Due to lack of communication we checked out. Indeed, it was really disappointing to have such experience in a 5 star hotel. Despite the rooms were clean and comfortable with very updated and modern rooms. Apart from all these the food was tasty and ambience is also good.

The finest star hotel in Trivandrum. The best part is the wonderful hospitable staff always ready to serve with a smile. They make us feel so good. The food here is currently the best in any 5 star hotel in Trivandrum city. The Bar just opened, and is just an ordinary one with nothing special about it. The rooms are all upmarket and fine.
