One of the beautiful beaches in Udupi. This is the good place to relax and enjoy and usually less crowded.

One of the most peaceful beaches I have ever been to! The waves are so calm and is also one of the best places to see the sunset from. Makes its peaceful also because there are not many people here. The people around are really nice and respect the privacy. All in all one of the best beaches of Udupi.
With the wind blowing strong and the sand between my toes, this beach really brought me a sense of serenity. The waves were strong and quite therapeutic. The sunset here was like something out of a fairy tale. There's some rocks near the shore that you can sit by and just take in the majestic view at this beach. Additionally, there are stores and restaurants nearby where you can avail of snacks and refreshments. I believe there is also an alcohol store nearby for those who are interested. But please keep this place clean!
I was introduced to this beach two years back by my friends and honestly there are quite a few famous beaches around udupi and none of them are like this one. This beach is for people like me, who wants to stay away from the crowd and enjoy the evening sunset. Beaches like Malpe is good but the crowd and activities around it ruins the quietness you may seek. I usually visit here in evening and spends around 1 to 1n half hour sitting on rocks or taking a solo walk. The beach has this semi white sand and it's clean but you will find garbage here and there. I suspect ocean might be dumping garbage from it. Anyway, there is ample amount of parking space as well. Overall I am satisfied and this beach deserves full stars.
Awesome beach, you can take bus or auto from Udupi it's around 12-14 kms or the best way is from Malpe beach n auto will take 100 rs.. Vast shore lines not very ideal for bathing but the best thing is a small restaurant there which serves coconut wine/toodi along with fish and other Mangalorean favourites. Awesome place and new experience...
Its very good beach. If u like peaceful place in beach then it is best place. But sometimes people and students from near by colleges smoke and drinks here. They throw and breaks glass bottles, which is dangerous for beach walkers.

Perfect place to spend the evening. Perfect location to witness sunset. Not crowded. Ample parking. White sand beach, and quite clean. Popular mainly among the locals. Very picturesque. A must visit place.
