The hutatma Smarak is a memorial for the martyrs of Chirner . During the British Raj the freedom fighters fought unitedly against the British.
25 september 1930 was a black day when indigenous people who tried to protest against British Indian Government were shot dead along with a Mamlatdar Mr Joshi who tried to stop the Police firing. The memorial reminds the history and more than that Shri. Vsanat Patil sir about to complete 85 years on 31.01.2022 is a legend who has studied and taught history over so many years. He has 14 books published to his credit.
Built to honour the people who fought for India, this is located in the quiet village of Chirner, very near the Peshwa Shiva Temple and the Ganesh Temple around the Chirner lake.
Chirner is known for its memorials, be ganpati festival fair. Locals enjoy shopping during fair. The Ganesh temple is nice and soothing.
