Neighborhood lake.... I realized after 3 years living here ... that there is a beautiful lake a stone throw away from where I live... a nice family friendly, kids friendly park and lake near Electronic city, Bangalore... car parking on the road beside the lake. No tickets or anything but the place gets busy in the evening especially on holidays/ weekends.
A huge and well maintained lake. Good for morning jogs or spending time in the evening to relax! The walkway around the lake is huge. One complete circle takes time. One of the sections has dirty water towards one end, which stinks. Apart from that the whole lake is clean with a lot of birds flocking the area. You can spot cormorants, kingfishers, herons, etc. There is a park at the entrance of the lake which as of now (June 2023) is getting renovated. So currently work is going on in the park and a very small area is available for the public use. No dedicated parking space. People manage by parking on the road side.
I see some very poetic reviews describing the lush green beauty of this place with fancy photo filters... blah blah ... please do not be mistaken. This just another lake with trees around and there is no such mesmerising beauty. The park has paved path, benches to sit and semi maintained garden. The only time you can comfortably visit here is evening around sunset otherwise it will be too hot and sunny!
Really nice place for piece.. you can feel the nature easily here. Perfect place for morning walk, running,yoga.

Huskur Lake is a very big lake near electric city phase 2. This lake has been renovated recently after covid, currently the lake has a jogging track for morning and evening walk. K1 bind hills Bangalore are very nice place to chill but I advise to you please visit before sunset. And please keep your snacks because their no shops and you can't get water bottles also. So please carry all the required thins. A nice place to see
