Food is good, I ordered chicken Schezwan Rice with veg Manchurian. But the place is very little, and not hygienic. They served the order a bit late. Personally I didn't like the behaviour of the manager. Everything's price is 10 rupees more than written in the menu card which they didn't tell earlier. The restaurant is on the roadside and so it's very dusty.

Hungry La Restaurant is located at the Karunamayee Junction, Tollygunge. It is a chinese joint (also Biryani and Indian Quick bite food is also available). First of all, I misjudged the restaurant very badly. I was unsure to enter the restaurant at first and was hesitant. But I made my way finally. When I entered, I saw a poster of Chicken Hyderabadi Biryani available there @Rs 100. However it was evening and I should not have biryani at that time. So i decided to order steamed chicken momo which was priced at Rs 60 (for takeaway) and Rs 70 for dine-in for 6 momos. Every item in the menu was Rs 10 extra for dine-in. The menu is very reasonable.
The chicken steamed momo is one of the best momos I have ever had in Kolkata. The size is big and tastes awesome and was juicy from inside, accompanied by Momo chutney and soup which had lots of chicken chunks. I felt that this quick bite restaurant is so underrated. It served very good food. Then I decided to order a plate of Pepper Chicken. Service was fast as crowd was less at that time. Within 10-12 mins we were served a beautifully garnished plate of pepper chicken. The portion for 8 pieces was priced at Rs 150 for take away and Rs 160 for dine-in like us. It was garnised with ginger and cabbage juliennes. It had thin flat strips of chicken thighs. Tastes was awesome. But the portion was not that good. I wanted more of that delicious chicken at that price. However I was so hungry at that time, I could not manage to take pictures of that place and food. I recommend everyone to pay visit at this food joint atleast once. The taste of the food here is really good.
Delicious food available at reasonable rates. The area is definitely smaller than proper restaurants but still manageable. The staff are well mannered and friendly. This place delivers too, that's another plus point. You can visit this place for quick bites as well as a full course lunch/dinner.
