Hatnur dam is an earth fill dam in Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, India. The dam is named after a nearby Hatnur village, which is present by side of the dam.This Dam was constructed by the Government of India in 1982.Hatnur dam is one of the biggest dams of Maharashtra. It servers for agricultural irrigation, for domestic use, hydroelectric power generation (~1420MW), fishery etc.

Beautiful dam on Tapti river, nearly 25kms from Bhusawal,near dharanaon in Jalgaon distt of Maharashtra.But there are no facilities for sitting i.e.benches, garden . Tea, snacks are also unavailable.So one should go well prepared to enjoy.

You can visit to see dam only. You need your private vehicles to explore here. There are very few hotels near to this area. Area is very peaceful.
