HS-II yeah!!! Its my first hostel as it is and just can't move away from here. Feels a lot like home no its more home and you know you've got the facilities won't say much about that BUT foods awesome!! Pleasant nauseating smell in the Morning and Mosquitofied nights just can't sleep #you won't sleep!!!!
It is the hostel alloted for 1st year's of mar athanasius college of engineering and sports quota students of arts college. The ground floor is exclusively for engineering students. It can accomodate about 44 students. Each room is shared by 4 students. The hostel is a bit older one. fans will be already there but the light bulbs have to be purchased by the roommates. The flooring is concrete. No tiles or anything. Overall it is a nice one to stay. (Nb: it is the only college hostel available for 1st years.most of its rooms are given to management quota students. Only about 20-25 state merit students get accomodation in this hostel. The rest has to find other private hostels)

The hostel is for the 2nd years of the Mar Athanasius College Of Engineering till 2016 and will be handed over to Mar Athanasius College in 2017 for making it the mens hostel of the MA College students. The place is pretty old but is cozy. The place is pretty much quiet making it a good place for students "who wish to study". The place is pretty near to the college, just a 5 min walk is required.
One of the old hostels in Mar Athanasius College of Engineering. It was built long back by the fund provided by the then king of Ethiopia Haile Selassie sense the name HS 2 (in fact there are two hostels hs1 and hs2 ). As I have pointed out the building and facilities are old. But you will have a comfortable stay.
Spent my best days here. Especially after the facelift around 2002, had clean bathrooms and hallways. Would want to go back again and again
Good WiFi connection , water and food is not up to the mark Rs 500 rent ,

the hospitality and food under the new management is good, i personally recommend MES as a much better hostel with reasonable fee for first year boys than any other hostel nearby.
