The houseboat Sweet Star is nice place to stay. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and hygienic. Siraj ji and their entire family play a wonderful host. They take good care of the guests. The food served is homemade and tasty. It feels like home in midst of nature at houseboat Sweet Star.
Stayed from 17th to 23rd of May 2023. Had a wonderful experience. The entire family takes good care of their guests and serves home cooked meals cooked by the Owners family. The rooms were quite spacious, neat and clean. Toilets/bathroom were clean and well maintained. During the entire stay the family took good care of us like their own family members. They had planned the entire trip for us including the pick-up/drop from and to the airport, Stay, Food and also travel and sight seeing. They had also arranged for my tickets for the Gondola ride in Gulmarg. Also they charged us very nominal for the entire trip. Stayed for 5 nights in the house boat and one night at a hotel in Pahalgam which was again arranged by the Siraj Bhai the owner of the House Boat.
Very warm people welcoming in their home which is a piece of art floating on Jhelum river. Would definitely recommend this place!
We stayed for four nights @ Houseboat Sweet Star. The place is very well maintained. Neat and clean rooms. The staffs are very helpful and attended to all our needs with a smiling face. Food was very tasty. Overall had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Very Excellent service.
I stayed in Houseboat Sweet Star for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience.The Pakhtoon family is so kind, professional and calm and they treated us as a family member.
