It is a great place. But the museum is not completed yet. But it is a place where you can feel the vibration of what a great personality he is. You can understand his unselfish service for our society and specially for women. We never forget about his contributions .
Pandit Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar lived here in this house for a long time. After the government took over this property, it has become an educational establishment. The house is in north Kolkata, just beside the Hrishikesh park.
The place on 18th October ( day of our visit) was not ready yet to take the visitors. There was only one room open which is reeking of fresh smell and newly done interiors. The staff behaviour was exceptionally bad.
Its now an academy. No visit allowed
