The hospitality of the management is top notch. They were very helpful during our 2 days stay at the hotel.There is enough parking space for the guests. The restaurant is well managed and clean.The manager at the restaurant,Amin was very friendly and helpful in explaining the places to visit and the best mode of transport to each site.

I spent 3 night here with my family and it was fabulous. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff is extremely courteous and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The central location makes it easy to travel to other parts of the city. A special mention to naveed and uzair who was extremely helpful to us during the breakfast. He quickly responded to all our requests with professional courtesy and a smile on the face.

I stayed here for 4 nights and would say that the staff is very cooperative, specially Mohammad Amin he was very nice and helpful throughout our trip. The food is really amazing, chef Danish really has cooking skills. Its a good place to stay!

It has been the most satisfying and lovely experience. From rooms to staff to the food, it was excellent. Hotel York is situated at a good location. Close to Dal Lake and local market. Easy availability to shops and basic needs. The service of the rooms are average. However room had a great view of mountains and the ambience was good. Service was average. Current supply was going on and off. The taps in the washroom was not working for one of our rooms. We had taken 2 rooms. The second room had disrupting tap problem. The temperature and smell was good and we can sleep peacefully. If anyone wants a close proximity to Dal Lake and local market this hotel York is a good option to choose with reasonable rate. Mohd Amin and Irfan were the service boys. They were polite and gentle and ready to listen to the feedbacks. We actually had a great stay at Srinagar. Karims situated at walking distance. One can try wazwan thali easily from there.

A classic place with a legacy Ample parking and a lovely High Quality Veg food and Good Service. The Hotel as such is very well maintained .There is Ample parking but always tight to get a spot, its Located in the Prime Locality near dal lake. This is my fourth visit and the food was consistent and tasted the same. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to stay there and review their rooms. Specially the behaviour of some staff members like Naveed ,uzair ,Amin is fabulous

The stay at hotel york was pure bliss - everything at the hotel is top notch, starting with the extremely attentive service and housekeeping to the decor of the hotel - both the rooms and the common areas are extremely well done . In fact the service and decor here matches any five star chain you can think of . A word of praise for the food and restaurant staff , they are so welcoming and the food is so good that one ends up overeating each meal. The hotel is well located too, a bit away from the madness of the Dal lake but not too far either. Also there is ample parking space at the hotel which is a definite plus. The in house shop at the hotel, run by the owners has extremely good stuff. I cannot think of a more wonderful stay at a hotel in the recent past - s hotelahotel yorkour expectations. Go for it !
