Hotel Yercaud International - Hotel in Yercaud - Salem, India

I wonder how some idiots gave this hotel 3-4 star ratings. They don't even deserve 1 rating. Only good thing, location. its located in walking distance from all the tourist attractions. People were wearing smiles and were nice in talking. The place is like haunted place, construction going on, full of garbage. Rooms are hosting cockroaches, spiders and even dirty yukky snails in bathroom. Bed sheets and blankets, which are the only things they provide, not washed for days I guess, was literally stinking. No towel, no soap, no shampoo which are basically given in all zero star hotels too. No power back up. electricity goes comes making night sleepless as if fan is off mosquitoes start feasting on you (for free, they don't charge mosquitoes for food). No restaurants, they buy food from outside and sell to you for 10-20 times price. One small bowl (200-250ml) rice: Rs.100. one 20-50 ml smallest available bowl daal: Rs.125 . Burnt chapati: Rs.50. Chicken (5 smallest pieces with bones+ 20 small capsicum pieces+ some rotten onion pieces): Rs.275. Curd: 50ml Rs.75. (In Bangalore you get a mini meal for Rs.100-300, as per their food rate calculation one plate min meal will cost you Rs.2000-3000, bowls are as small as you get to see on your mini meal plate) If you want to screw up your trip please book this place :) . I'll suggest to book hotel on arrival, lots hotels are there. Cleaner better cheaper. If by any chance you don't get rooms, go towards Salem, lots hotels there. Road really nice with beautiful view so you won't get tired driving.

The place is better for bachelors and not suitable for family. The manager is very courteous and approachable. However facilities are meager and room service is non existent. Even towels and soap are not given. The only advantages of the hotel are that it is near to the bus depot and offers a splendid view of the valley.

We had stayed 3 times at this hotel . Two times with family and one time with friends. Excellent hospitality,, very warm and courteous staff and management. We had best possible stay during Pongal festival 2011. Kudos to Management and staff for making the festival as memorable one.Best of the budget hotel in yercaud , situated in very calm and serene place.

Visited in Jan of 2021, it is under construction only 7 rooms were available. No basic accessories provided. Only 1 person was available for handling everything. Charged 7000 per day for 4 rooms which is very high for the condition of hotel.

Very unhygienic. Dirty surrounding. No basic amenities available. Summer time power cut will make your stay miserable. Reviews and photos posted here are of years back I guess. Lake front budget hotels cost almost same.

A place with nice ambiance. Worth the money paid we get a fairly nice deal for rs 1970 (for 6 people 2double room) via makemytrip. Suitable for bachelors and family. 100% satisfied.

Hotel is very spacious with very good ambience. Rooms are cheaper and campfire option is also available for negotiable cost. Food is costly which is normal in hill stations. Overall a good place for a couple of days of accomodation

Not recommended. I was hired to freelance the upcoming building work as designer. These guys got my work without paying my fee. And they seem to talk nicely to new ppl to get their trust and later on don't provide the required services. Better avoid this for your safety and unnecessary loss of time and money. They don't even deserve one star.
