I am talking about the bar here. Amazing place. The snacks are finger licking good. If you are a pork lover then just try the pork deep fry. Trust me you haven't had anything like that before.
This is a very clean and well maintained facility if you are looking for a budget accomodation. The staff are very polite and professional. Food is excellent. Location is good for hopping onto any public vehicle. Hotel is close to many good cafe, restaurants and bar.
It was the farewell party for a colleague. The service was wonderful and we enjoyed the party. Food was good, I won't say it was exquisite, but the quality, quantity, taste and presentation were good. The washroom was clean. Parking is limited and parking attendants try their best to help you park properly. This is a 'cash only' property.
Located right in the heart of Laitumkhra, this hotel has left a lot to desire. The hotel is not wheelchair friendly. The reception is on the 2nd floor and if you don't know where the lift is, it could be a challenge. Friendly people at the desk. But terrible ones when it comes to the dining area. The breakfast spread is really really terrible. The tables are laidout like some mess. The food tastes pathetic. Oil soaked puris, bland Alu ki sabji. Cold boiled eggs.. And tea made of unboiled milk... Yuck I asked them to make the tea a little stronger and I was made to feel as if I have done some crime. Do not have any hopes from the food served at the hotel Another shocker - the switches of all the lights etc in the room, are controlled by switches outside the room. My friend had to sleep without lights all night because someone had switched off the lights from outside.. Imagine.. Rooms are decently sized and so is the bathrooms. Neat and clean. You get a set of big and a hand towels with small Lux soap and shampoo sachets. Getting hot water is a challenge. You definitely need to call for help to get hot water in your shower/tap. Don't expect any views from the rooms. Lights go off pretty often and the hotel has no backup. Shillong was pretty hot during 17 - 20 July 2023 and the power cuts were unbearable.
Won't gonna lie but me and my girlfriend had counter some short of paranormal experiences in the hotel room around midnight while sleeping .. apart from that the food and the service were good.
It's a regular hotel for me whenever I am in shillong. Foods are very tasty and excellent service by all staffs.
A very nice hotel in the midst of Shillong. Easy accessibility to major sightseeing spots. Well maintained, clean large rooms. A large lobby on each floor tastefully decorated. Reasonable tariff and good restaurant.

Had a very pleasant stay. The cottage is very well maintained and furnished. Rooms were neat and clean. The owner of the property,Mr Darell is very soft spoken and helpful. Overall the stay was very cozy. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was top notch. Indian, khasi food and continental. Did not use the pool. But was looked very nice. Had great drinks and dinner at poolside bar.

You will actually feel like you are staying at home. I have visited Mawlynnong 3 times and every time I stayed in this homestay. Superb neat and clean place with decent basic eating options nearby.
