Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great service. Food was great ++++. Me and my friends had such a pleasant stay in this hotel. Overall satisfied.

Rates are reasonable for food as well as for rooms. Rooms are well maintained & hygienic. Services are upto mark. Staff is very hospitable.Shout out to Chef & Shukraj they make and serve food with generosity.

Hotel room was okaish while sleeping it cause problem, bed was not good. Hotel food was nice kind of okaish. Staff was friendly and treated well. It's location is kind of on hill so by walking it makes our breathe heavy and leg pains. No view from window it's okaish. Ambience was gud and staff even.

Hotel White Yak is satisfactory and a decent hotel in close proximity and walking distance to Mall Road, Darjeeling. The hotel is centrally located but on an upward sloping lane. There is a school next door, so this lane is closed at certain times for traffic. So be prepared to walk up the steep climb with a huff & puff! Considering the topography of Darjeeling town which is located on steep hills, so many other hotels also are in steep climbing lanes. This hotel is very neat and clean and the housekeeping staff is very meticulous. The other staff too is quite amenable and eager to help. The rooms have no view. Deluxe rooms are smaller than the Super deluxe rooms. Each room has a geyser in the bathroom for hot water. If you are going to be out the whole day and just come back here for night rests, this hotel is a very good option. Food is pure Vegetarian - Indian, Chinese, Continental, and it is very tasty and well made. Loved their food so compliments to their lady Chef. Overall, Hotel White Yak is good in its category.

This Hotel is located in the hub on the Mall road but one has to climb very steep steps/hilly slope to reach to the hotel. No vehicle is allowed to the hotel doorsteps. Practically impossible for senior citizens and elders. Breakfast was included in our package. We stayed for two nights. Rooms are fairly spacious and attached bathrooms are very small. There is no lift in this property. It is really a Himalayan task to get into the rooms on the higher levels after climbing so hard from the streets to reach the reception We were provided stale food for breakfast on both the days. When complained, there is no response from management. It is shameful on their part to treat their own guests so badly. On the second day of our stay, we were denied to join the buffet and they served stale noodles on the table. This created nausea to all the four of us. In the meantime, a group from Gujarat was served fresh food in the buffet and we were denied to join with them for the reason best known to the manager. We did not had much time left with us to fight for our breakfast and had to leave towards Bagdogra to catch the flight. Will never ever visit them again nor will we recommond this property to anyone in our circle. Very bad attitude.
