Very good hotel in lakkar bazar. Clean and well maintained. Walking distance from Ridge, Church and Mall Road. Valley View from Room was great, we have taken premium room which was decent size. Didn't tried much food option but whatever we ordered was good. Private Balcony room having valley View wasn't listed on app so you may need to call hotel directly for the same. Many food outlets are nearby including fruit shops. Staff was helpful, good and polite. If plan again to visit Shimla, will prefer this hotel and would recommend for family as well.
One of the best hotel in our official budget. Employees are very humble and special thanks to Mr. Thakur for all the assistance. He even called me to check my well being once I reached my home town. Strongly recommend Hotel White
Excellent location, just near the bridge where most vehicle/buses drop tourists. Well connected to all major places in the city. Rates are great and the staff is cooperative. They even have contacts with local drivers etc. which can be arranged at decent prices.
Centrally located in between Lakkar Bazar. Service is very good. Clean rooms and good breakfast. My stay of 53 days was very comfortable
I would say, its really a good old hotel in Shimla. Near to Mall road and the location is superb.. just take the deluxe room you will get a best view.
Its just 5 minutes walk from the mall road. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was nice. The room was spacious with valley view. It was neat and clean. It has a balcony attached to the room however we couldn't use it much because of frequent monkeys visit else everything was fine. I would recommend it to other travellers travelling to Shimla.
Our stay at the hotel was for 4 nights. The size of the room was quite good, it was clean, the washroom was clean with geaser. The view from the room's attached balcony was amazing . The hotel staff was courteous, the food menu was short but all dishes were well prepared. The service was good, not too quick nor too slow. Lakkar Bazar being situated at the top of all roads was very cool. The hotel is 2mins away from the ridge and 5-7mins away from the mall road. If you need anything like toiletries, eatables, drinks, fruits, etc it is easily available near the hotel. Most good joints are located at Mall road but on ridge and lakkar bazar you get a lot of road side snacks. Overall we enjoyed staying at Hotel White, and if we visit again it would surely be our preferred choice. The recommendations are - 1. Tea should be improved. 2. Electric kettle and dip tea sachet should be there in room 3. Hand towel and toiletries should be given not just soap The hotel was peaceful, serene view of the valley.
