Nice and cool stay, rooms are on 3rd & 4th Floor with no lift. Home cooked food is served as per your requirement Subject to availability of ingredients.
We booked a room with the balcony but owner denied to give us that room. He said that the room with balcony is booked for his private guests but no body showed up for two days. But the caretaker names 'BARINDRA' made our stay memorable. He was very heplful, humble and welcoming. He prepared delicious food. Hence, the stay was beautiful and would always prefer this homestay whenever will visit shimla.

One of the best in the remote area of Shimla . The best part of this hotel is taker care guy Mr. Virender bai . Very kind and helpful . U will have a scenic sunrise view from the bed itself.. The view was awesome in morning sunrise and night . Each apartment have a common hall to dine and a good attached kitchen with two rooms , one room will have balcony and the other won't . Make sure you get the balcony room . Maintained well with good hygiene .. Will come again to meet Mr. Virender bai and his kids . Awesome days .
First of all I want to convey 1 thing that west end home stay has 2 flats on 4th and 5th floor so be aware if you have kids. Food like dinner they don't cook they arrange from other vendor and rate is very high like 240 for simple dal taska.now come to pros so 1 - great view from terrace 2- They provide kitchen so you can cook as you want 3- Caretaker Birender served breakfast as paratha was tasty. 4 - Rooms were clean and spacious
The property is located only 20mins from Shimla (Mall Road). The house is very beautiful and well maintained with beautiful and spacious rooms. The best part is that you'll be greeted with breath taking view. Make sure to witness a beautiful sunrise. The care taker is very humble, nice and very helpful. He is also a very good chef. The best part about this place is that you will have a peaceful time with nothing but the beautiful view of snowy mountains to distract you. We enjoyed sun bathing every morning with the most amazing view of the valley.
The host has a comfortable homestay with all the basic amenities and a very cosy feel to the place. Rooms are accessible only after climbing stairs which might be a concern for some. Kitchen is available along with common area and can be used by all guests. The property has parking space for 3 vehicles and more can be parked outside the property. The homestay was very clean and welcoming. Wonderful views from the room and terrace enthralled us. The care taker, Virender is a jolly and helpful fellow too.
