Hotel Wada (house of taste) - Restaurant in Pune - Pune, India

In that specific location, there were a number of restaurants, and each one has very amazing entrance, but specifically, this restaurant has something very different. I was reminding of something very earthy and very raw. It reminded us of the village as the interior was so unique and good. We ordered a number of dishes in the veg category and in the nonveg category, and I felt everything was very tasty and very delightful. Here are some pros and cons about this place. it was the most crowded restaurant at the specific area Pros- 1. Very earthy place with good interiors. 2. In the entrance, they have a huge Shivaji idol. 3. The food was good but it could be better. 4. Good spacious siting space. 5. Washrooms were also clean. 6. The staff were also good. Cons- I felt food could be better.

Good place to try out Maharashtrian Cuisine. Decent seatings.

The restaurant has reopened from June 2nd week. The ambience is good. We ordered Chicken Thali Kolhapuri. Its has Tambda Pandhra rassa, Alani rassa (unlimited), Chicken sukka, Chicken Keema, Solkadhi, Bhakari & Rice (unlimited), a boiled egg, and now a Gulab Jamun. In the starters section, they serve around 50 different dishes. Easy Choice - Chicken Kharda. The service is quick. Taste wise its better than most of the restaurants serving Thali They are now back with few changes. And I think management is one of them. The taste has dropped a little. Also, ask if everything written on any thali menu is available or not. Sometimes Rassa is missing from the Thali which they dont inform before placing the order

Tried mutton thali (kala masala). taste was very good. Service & Staff is nice, polite.. All over the experience is good.

At this Wada hotel you will get to eat very delicious Mutton Raan in Matan Raan Thali, almost 2-3 kgs of mutton is served in this Raan Thali and Mutton Matka Handi is also served to you in black masala... Must visit once.

Disappointed. Ordered chicken thali and egg thali. Both had same common gravy. Thali was definitely not worth the money. Below everage. Far from house of taste. Solkadhi was good.

We took their unlimited special chicken thali. It costs 1000 lRs and is enough for 2-3 people. We could literally smell our food being prepared so it was definitely fresh. They offered to replace anything that didn't taste good - but there are so many items in the plate you'd just move to another item. Felt like quantity over quality deal, but good dishes were really good. Therefore I have mixed emotions about it. Pros: 1. Lots of different curries ( Tambda, pandhra, kala rassa) 2. Four types of chicken preparations (kheema, sukla and 2 more) 3. Very soft sticky rice, nice biryani, options between different bhakirs and chapatis which are unlimited 4. Good gulab jamun, Sol kadhi, papad 5. Service and hospitality is definitely good Cons: 1. Some of the chicken preparations were just not up to the mark and the chicken was not cooked completely 2. The ambience was borderline decent, there was some smell in the indoor area so we sat in the open space 3. The thali is costly for 2 people who are not heavy eaters, given the taste.

I have tried chicken sukkha in kholapuri masala which is good in taste also .... Service is good and ambience is also good but the dish from which I got very disappointed is the Chicken handi in kala Masala I was not expecting that much black in my food ...Also chicken is not fresh ...but you can try chicken sukkha in kholapuri masala it's Tate was good ..they directly nerves us 2 bottle nof water without our permission and add them into our bill which is also not a good thing....
