I had booked this hotel just for a break while being on a road trip, hence i did not need a luxurious stay. This hotel turned to be value for money for me. I had booked a non AC room, travelled during June and the room was cool enough for a good sleep. Washrooms in the pictures may not look satisfactory that is beacuse the hotel building and structure is old however it is clean. Lot of restaurant options available nearby.

This hotel is in the heart of the city. Very near to bus stand, railway station, market & mahalaxmi Mandir. Rooms are big, neat & clean. Hot water is provided from early morning through the direct tap. The plus point of this hotel is there staff, which is very courteous, pleasing & prompt. A worth stay at the most economical price.
The pictures are not the same with the actual one. See the actual photo. The Manager is pathetic one. The manager gave us a room on 1st floor, -110 room no, the AC was not working and the room was pathetic. I had to change due to bad odour in the room and the cleanliness. They give u a worst room.. Took a risk to come with family in this hotel.
Hotel's location is good but it is not very well maintained. Looking at the exterior of the building one feels that it is an abandoned building. Though hotel staff is really nice and helpful. It was their attitude that makes stay worth it.
Hotel not recommended... Had a very bad experience with them. We booked 3 rooms in Jan. But due to some personal issue had to cancel. As comited on their web site we had paid max money by net banking and as confirmed on phone we called and informed them on cancellation 5days in advance. My wife called them and followed up for 3 months and every time they gave some or other reason to avoid refund. They take money in advance but don't keep promises of refund in case of cancellation inspite of confirming on their website ..they don't have manners for speaking with customers... Finally we have stopped follow up...
it was nice experience staying ! nice clean rooms ,spacious also ! only annoying thing was repeatedly asking r u married? n asking whether u have read the rules? firstly it's none of ur business ,there is no law which Denise permission ! it was more irritating coz we are married. I hate such moral policing.
Hotel Vijayraj is a good place for a short stay, like 1 Night. It earlier provided dining facility which I used to enjoy when I was a kid. But now it just has lodging-boarding and SBI branch. Location is at a convenient place from Bus & Railway stations

Economical place to stay in Kolhapur. The best place to stay if you are coming to visit Sree Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple, which is hardly 200 metres away from the hotel. Good for overnight stay. Take assistance from the hotels guys for parking.
