Hotel Vijaya Residency - Hotel in Manipal - Udupi, India

Located at a proper location from MAHE Manipal. You get all amenities inside. Rooms are of adequate size. Service is satisfactory too. For sightseeing etc, requesting the reception will help.

The hotel is located away from city centre. But since it's a small city it doesn't effect a lot. The hotel room was very clean and good. The hotel has parking in front which may accommodate 4-5 cars. Edit: After seeing other reviews I feel now they have changed a lot. But definitely not worth 4k like mentioned in other reviews.

I don't know about previous reviews, but presently hotel is good for single person stay if you are on official visits. The thing is they don't provide complimentary services. But good restaurant is available nearby. Deluxe Rooms are good and clean. It is 3kms away from main happening city manipal. If you are having own vehicle for travel then the stay at Vijay Residency is nice.

I had booked a suite not even executive or deluxe room. No breakfast is included with the stay thats already mentioned.* No Hangers * Wifi doesn't work * Mineral Water is chargeable * No Clothes Rack just a small cupboard * No Heater as mentioned * No Iron/Ironing Board * Smoking Room or a smoke alarm, they just asked me to smoke inside the room when I enquired about the common area.* No Dental Kit * No Air Purifier* Small Bathroom , flush wasn't working* No Mosquito Net * No Dining Table * Unclean sheets and pillows * No Hairdryer or Shower Cap as mentioned* No Toilet Papers * No Shower cubicle* No BathtubOver 50% of the things mentioned aren't there. Theres no basic hygiene too, flush wasn't working, sheets weren't clean. Horrible stay.

Nice place to stay with budget price. The place is renovated with new rooms. Ambience is really good. Customer service was also good.

Large, clean rooms with adequate amenities; part of the Treebo chain. Nice and comfortable beds with clean linen. Towels were clean. Property is very good. Bathroom fittings are new, however the WC looks old, and not of good quality. The 3 star rating, is due to poor maintenance and service. I didn't get hot water in the tap, on two separate visits. They don't have adequate service staff, so, be prepared to wait for anything you ask. The veg restaurant serving complimentary breakfast is very small and not up to the Treebo standards. I didn't try lunch or dinner here, though it might have been available.

The room is good but the service by the management is not good. Saying this because they took 45 mins just to give the soap and towel. In the night they don't attend your calls. The rooms are not cleaned the next day. The room boy was drunk and slept on the sofa near the reception in the night . I woke him up to ask something and then he just slept off without attending to my request. Breakfast is average and the service at the hotel is good.

A moderately comfortable place to stay.
