Hotel Viceroy Grand - Hotel in Guntur - Guntur, India

Truly disappointed! Especially with all the hype that is going on on social media, I expected more. But the hotel did not meet my minimal expectations. The waiting time is around 30 mins and after getting in we ordered Basket chicken and Chicken Mughalai Biryani. To be honest, these are some of the basic orders and if they can't make these the best .. I don't know what is going to be the scenario with the other new dishes. The basket chicken was very dry and the chicken was somewhat smelly. The Mughalai Biryani was served on a plate with the curry on the top. The curry was very bland and had a creamy flavour to it. Tasted more like malai chicken and flavoured rice. The place looks just okay. But, No cleanliness. Had to request for multiple other plates. The male staff are just wandering off around in the restaurant and are least bothered when called. Kudos to the female staff for immediately responding to the calls and assistance. Overall the place is just okay.. I suggest ordering the food to dine in.

Great. Rooms are centrally air conditioner. Neatly maintained. Rooms service is good. Nearby to the Guntur railway station junction. Affordable price.

Good budgeted Hotel. Big and spacious Rooms. Neat and clean maintained. Walkable distance from 8th platform of Guntur Railway Station. Walkable distance to get Auto and Bus. Complimentary breakfast available. Restaurant is available. But average food experience at restaurant section.

Special boneless chicken biryani here is my favourite I used to have this many times but I eat it directly going to hotel recently my brother took takeaway the taste is not that good doesn't match the previous taste I don't the reason exactly

Food is very delicious, Mutton Dum Biryani is the chef special, but the service, waiters and the manager are careless. I ordered soup they haven't gave the sauce, they are very arrogant some manager named reddy he is very arrogant... It's not a new thing in guntur it's a common thing in guntur never expect hospitallity, hygiene and proper service in guntur

Probably among the tastiest Biryanis in India. Local goat/lamb is organic because the animals graze in open fields in herds. Viceroy chef seems to have a secret recipe like Coca-Cola. Surprisingly demand for this biryani increases along with price. Kind of Veblen effect.

To spend some quality time with family I opted for this restaurant. After finishing a waiting period nearly 30min got the table We ordered 1 veg starter, 1 non-veg starter, and 2 kinds of biryanis. After finishing the starters I had a long enough to dry my hands to get biryani served Only the wings biryani is good the other are so so With the price they charge and the things have gone up. We are not satisfied

The worst service ever. The waiters are very rude and arrogant. they doesn't know to respect costumers.the food is also very bad. I really had very bad experience in this hotel . The waiter talked arrogantly to us. So I complained to manger there. He doesn't even took an action about it . Later I complained the owner, he didn't responded properly. the Irresponsibile behaviour of waiter can't be judged where it's owner can't take the responsibility......
