This is a great hotel. It's not the latest hotel in build or design but the services, cleanliness and staff and management are on the same level as the grand hotels. Hotels front office and other areas may use some old systems but they work very well. Great for families and for business stops. Close to important places and most of all Halal food and mosques are available within walking distance.
Got a chance to stay here with my wife and kids. The location of the hotel is just fantastic. It's all quite in the surroundings of the hotel whereas the very busy brigade road streets are at walkable distance. Some of the restaurants with fantastic cuisines and the breweries are at walkable distance too. Coming to the rooms, the rooms seemed to belong to a old building which was renovated to look new and modern but there are places like bathroom where you can find the reminder of old building visible. The rooms were maintained very very neat. Came with a small led tv too. The cost you pay looks a bit too high since the room doesn't look modern inspite of renovation. The room came with a split AC though. The breakfast spread was limited but had both dosas, idli's, upma, breads, jams, omelettes, fruits etc along with tea and coffee. All of them tasted great. The only issue i had with the hotel is that due to my negligence i left some personal stuffs in the room and after reaching home, i requested the hotel folks to send it across courier which i would pay for. Inspite of calling them for three straight days and they saying they will send, they didn't yet. Apart from this incident, i think this is a very good and quiet place to stay if you are looking for an accommodation near brigade road. Please check out the garden they have nicely maintained in their restaurant area. Looks great.
Clean, decent, well orgenized and reasonably priced. Rooms were large with desk, wifi and large showers. Reception was welcoming and flexible. Recommended!!

My booking included breakfast and stay. We were 4 persons and they provided a decent room with 3 beds and extra matress was given for 4th person. The breakfast was buffet and you can order omelette or dosas which will be served hot. The staff was extremely courteous. Overall a good experience.

We had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Vellara. The rooms are very big and the bed very comfortable. The property can be improved but this is correct. During our stay my partner got injured and the staff was amazing. They booked for us many cabs and brought our food (that we ordered online) directly in the room !! We thank them a lot. The location is also very good. We recommend you this Hotel and we will come back very soon ;)
