Very non co-operative staff. They are getting their monthly salary uninterrupted so they have no problem if people don't like their service. They have no problem if the hotel stays vacant round the year. I hope some day people of Jharkhand will be educated enough to understand their rights and throw these lazy people out of the jobs. You can stay here but don't expect nice hospitality from them.

Van vihar is in a good location, but rooms are in pathetic condition. Rooms are not properly clean. There is nothing in the room for tea making. If you want to stay in Betla, better you search for other options. Though one thing is there is the SPACE. The space of the building is huge. The restaurant is also very big. Food quality is also ok. Do check other better options if you have any.

This Place is run by JTDC. Excellent location, situated on the SUNRISE POINT, Netarhat. Rooms booked Online process but very often it is hard to book room here. Nevertheless it is a great value for money Hotel & strongly recommend.

It's under the tourism development corporation, Jharkhand. It has been recently renovated. Rooms are anyhow good. But, here food is very costly and you have no other option. Ambience is not so satisfactory. If you have no vehicles then a lot of money is required for the same.

Location and ambience are superb. Food is little costly but quality is good. Staffs are very friendly and well behaved. Room quality can be improved with floor and wall decoration. Some basic amenities like chappal, wardrobe can be arranged. The hotel comes under JTDC, Govt of Jharkhand

The hotel is absolutely a waste of money. Rooms are shabby and dull. Major % of the sockets don't work. Tiles coming off of the walls. Stained bedsheets. All doors have multiple locks yet only a single one works. No cabinets or wardrobes. But wall compartments which are full or dirt and dust. There's no electricity in the morning and evening. At morning, backup generators dont run. A complete waste when compared to the amount of money being charged. 3.8k/room Rooms are big. Staffs are helpful.
