Hotel Uttam residency - Hotel in Patiala - Patiala, India

I stayed on 1 Nov 2023. Room 110 was clean but AC was Not working. TV was Not working. Even door lock was broken means you can't close from inside. I complained but in vain.

First of all don't "DONT LOOK AT THE RATING" The hotel provides you a 10% discount on giving them 5 star rating" I think there are many alternatives in patiala at the same rate which are better than this. first of all the staff gives off a really creepy stare whenever you are entering or leaving the hotel. Also they have a limit of check in 10:30 at night as told by staff which was really not good as i was traveling from mohali just to meet my friends at a night party. secondly there is constant noise in the balcony(no entrance to the room but u could see it) which makes it feel like someone is always watching you. lastly the amenities are poor, we booked in a good month but the room AC was not working and even after them saying they are sending someone nobody actually came to fix it ever. secondly the bathroom looks OK but the flush was not working and despite complaining about it nobody came. so yea hotels location and price is ok but the staff quality is really poor like very very poor which forced me to give them 2 stars. I wanted to give 1 star but at least my room was clean and good so 2 stars. too much staring and why do the staff keep asking us questions. We have a room there where you could talk to us at check in and check out but why every time we are going in and out you have to stop us and say something. not recommended for couples.

Good staff and receptionist. Very peaceful place for quite persons like me.

The experience is good. The rooms are neat and clean. The only thing which bothered me was that you can't order food from outside. the hotel is charging food very costly plus they are charging a water bottle for Rs 30. there is a parking facility in the hotel itself. rest is very good experience

The hotel and hotel staff both are pathetic.. I REQUEST EVERYONE NOT TO BOOK THIS HOTEL JUST BECAUSE OF GOOD RATINGS. I booked room in this hotel and after sometime found that the tap and shower are not working in the bathroom.. I complained the staff multiple times and after sometime, owner called and said you don't t know how to use the tap and shower.. I requested her multiple times to fix it.. but she denied. The ratings of the hotel are good because they give you 10% discount if you rate them 5 star but its not even worth 1 star..!!

The food facility is not that much good. We ordered cold coffee,french fries along with tea. The taste of all was flavorless. Uttam residency should focus to improve the cooking skills

A good place to have a get together. We went to book the hall for a meeting, we were given a good reception. The pricing of the hall also is very reasonable. The management is very accommodating. We have a program there very soon, so more photos of the program will come in a short time. We visited the place today again to book it for a get together. The owner was good to talk to.

This is a good place for the gathering of up to 80-100 persons. Entrance, hall ambiance is good, sound gets loud when people enjoy on dance floor, you can't talk, well that's the scene of every party location. Food was good, outside portion of hall is a makeshift arrangement with fabric shed, serves the purpose. Service was good, overall you will have a nice experience.
