manager hHari verry helpful about all what considers lion yeep trips... fine clean big room with balcony. not a five star. but best sleep. since Umag is not at noisy mainroad. close to a good restaurant. the only one. peaceful hotel. and the price gives more peace...

Very nice hotel in GIR. Best location. Just about 100 metres away from the GIR forest. Safari arranged by the manager of the hotel. The manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. They take good care of the guest. The rooms qualities are realy good. Customized food available (both veg and non-veg). Also the location of the hotel is such that there are many restaurants outside where tourists can try different varieties of food.

This hotel is very near to main road. The room and bathroom are clean. Anyone can hear the roar of lions from the room, which is mesmerising. One can go to roof and rest in a khatiya and enjoy the full moon night. For the non veg lovers, one restaurant is 100 metres away from it which was a gift for us. The room service is also very good. It is a really value of money hotel.

Very arrogant staff. Charged extra amount even after advance booking. The language was very rough. Prefer other hotels like Green field.

This hotel is near Singh Sadan, the office of getting the entry pass of Gir Jungle Trail. The owner is no doubt good, other staff are so so. Restaurant not available, but food by parcel is available. We booked 3 rooms here. Rooms are good, but bathrooms and commodes are not properly cleaned. If one has the permit for jungle safari at early in the morning, it is good to stay here for reaching The Sigh Sadan quickly.

The manager of the hotel is cordial and helpful. the hotel also didn't charge for early check in. the room was clean. location of the hotel is good. it is only 10 minutes walking distance from the reporting place of the gypsi safari trail. so it's ok for the people who r looking for a budget hotel

PLEASE AVOID GOING HERE - Please don't go by the swimming pool photos aa there is no swimming pool in hotel. Also bathrooms are very much pathetic and in worst condition and upon request to clean them, they said it's going to be same. Can't help it. Hotel manager sent good photos of bathroom, but the room allocated had worst bathroom I've ever seen. Please refer to my photos posted. There are good oyo rooms and other stay options available in nearby vicinity. I would suggest don't go for this one.

First of all this hotel is only less than 5 mins walk from sinh sadan gate(entrance of gir forest). The communication with the hotel manager was superb.. We rchd late night by 10 and he still picked us up from the bus stop.. Talking abt the food.. It was amazing.. Literally wanting for more.. Appreciate the cook.. Cleanliness was also upto the mark.. He didn't over charge us for anything.. Provided he helped us to get a jeep for safari at gir.. Which I felt was reasonable than what other sites were providing.. Overall experience was very nice and will really recommend this place for others too... We got a good deal from goibibo for 3 rooms which was not more than **.. Great place hotel Umang..
