Very nice hotel. Masala dosa is the best dish served here. Very tasty. Medhu vada is also delicious with sambar and chutney.
A typical normal veg hotel. The price was affordabel and the place is so clean. The ghee roast is good so do the chutney which comes with it. The sambar is more water in consistency like all restaurants. Anyway its a good place. Visit here rather than visiting Sharavana bhavan at mullackal.
Very good restaurant. Very friendly staff and food is good and budget friendly too.
I ate Chapathi and Veg curry. Very good taste and cost 50/-. Definitely go to option for vegetarian options.
Udupi Kitchen is the best, reliable and clean pure vegetarian shop in Alappuzha city. Feel free to eat. Recommended to everyone.
Good place to have local Kerala food.
Tried breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
All were very good.
The Kerala traditional thali on banana leaf was also good.
Masala dosa, onion uttapam, Idli was great.
Staff is welcoming.
The restaurant looks very humble but it's very neat and clean with several items in the menu.
You can try the place you want to take a taste of local Kerala cuisine.
This is the perfect hotel for those who like vegetarian food. Tried both masaladosa and ghee roast. Both are delicious.the coconut chutney serving with dosas are a great combo. I think almost 80 or 90+ varieties of vegetarian food available here. I will try more varieties in coming visits.
A Regrettable Trip to Hotel Udupi Kitchen
Date of Visit: August 12, 2023
With: My Family
We Ordered: Meals
Our visit to Hotel Udupi Kitchen was really disappointing. We went there as a family, excited to try their famous Udupi cuisine. Sadly, it didn't turn out well at all.
When we got to the restaurant, the first thing we noticed was how unclean it was. There were flies all around our table, which made it really uncomfortable to sit down. It was not what we expected from a place that's supposed to be good.
Things got worse when we tried to wash our hands before eating. The water from the tap was a strange yellow color. This made us worried about how clean the restaurant really was. We felt like we couldn't trust the place anymore.
The food itself was a letdown too. The rice and curry we ordered were not good at all. The rice was too soft and mushy, and the curry didn't taste like it should for Udupi cuisine. It was very disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to some delicious dishes.
What confused us even more was that they said they were an Udupi Kitchen. But from our experience with Udupi cuisine before, this place didn't match up at all. It felt like we had walked into a completely different restaurant, and that made us really sad.
To sum it up, our visit to Hotel Udupi Kitchen was a big mistake. The unclean environment, strange tap water, bad food, and the fact that it didn't feel like a real Udupi restaurant made it a really bad experience. We can't understand how they're still allowed to be open and serve people. It's disappointing that a place with potential could fall so short.
We suggest that if you're thinking of going to Hotel Udupi Kitchen, you should think again. There are probably better places to enjoy real Udupi food and have a nice meal with your family.
A very highly popular vegan restaurant in Alappuzha and has a great history of ages. Very hot and fresh vegan food. I'd had masala dosa from here many times with crispy Vada and a heavy coffee.
Delightful Breakfast at Namaste Tiffins!
I had an incredible breakfast experience at Namaste Tiffins in Alleppey, and it deserves a glowing five-star review! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by the warm and friendly owners.

When it comes to craving for vegetarian food, this is a favorite go to place for yummy dosa, idli and chutney. Their karrikku shake and chikku shake are also too good. Pocket friendly and quality comes together with this restaurant. Kudos to the team
Restaurant is placed next to the Alleyppey railway station.
We went with our whole family for lunch by April 2023.
Hospitality is very poor. no proper response about the food items availability.
After long struggle to check availability of the menu i
A traditional simple restaurant where you can have simple vegetarian food..me being a vegetarian found it useful in such a place alapuzha with huge numbers of non veg restaurant where everything tasted like cooked on fish oil
This place is a gem! The meals are served on banana leaves which is rare. It was all very tasty and we also had the biriyani which was light, fragrant and not oily at all. We also went for dinner and of course the food was really tasty!
