Hotel Udhayam International, Thiruchendur - Hotel in Thiruchendur - Tuticorin, India

We checked in around 7 PM and got a triple bed room. The rooms were spacious. I woke up at 2 Am as I heard a water dripping sound inside the room since it was raining outside and found that there is a leak inside the room.. The room cupboards are not maintained . The complimentary breakfast was very average.

Rooms are spacious but not clean. Charged rs 2600 for 24 hrs. No fixed check in or out time. Parking is available. Complimentary breakfast is not good. For this price you can get two decent rooms nearby. Highly overpriced. Rooms have no proper lighting. Only spot lights. No full tube lights. Lots of switches but no bulbs. Bathroom dirty. 3/5.

The hotel really should take consideration from their customers. I personally felt the hotel was so surprisingly unsatisfied. They name it as an international hotel but I don't think so, there was a lot of issues in this particular stay. The rooms were not clean, the heater is not working properly and although they want to change the room also we felt unsatisfied as well. This made our stay a horrible moment and we felt unhappy. Hope the management take consideration about all the issues that mentioned above. Thank you.

The hotel staff was friendly and responsive to requests.The room was generally clean, but there were a few areas that could use some extra attention.The bed was comfortable, and the temperature control worked well for a good night's sleep.

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel recently, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. The condition of the room was appalling - the doors were broken, making security a major concern. The bed had blood-stained sheets, which was not only unsightly but also unsanitary. Cockroaches infested the room, creating a completely unacceptable living environment. To add to the list of issues, the bathroom did not even have a functioning lock, which is a basic necessity for any guest. I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed and uncomfortable this stay was. I strongly advise against booking a room at this hotel until they address these serious issues. It's essential for the management to improve the cleanliness, security, and overall condition of the rooms to ensure the safety and comfort of their guests. This experience was far from what one would expect from any reputable establishment. In addition the hotel charges extra than what was advertised stating they wrongly mentioned the amount in MakeMyTrip

Excellent property and very convenient to stay. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Property is clean and has a fantastic sea view. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much.

It's named as international standard, but its not upto the mark. Because on 7th October I stayed in this hotel, before that i travelled a lot & preferred this hotel for a peaceful sleep. But unfortunately power cut during 1.40am. Regarding this issue i contacted hotel executive, but i have not get a proper response & answer. So i was disappointed. Aslo the extreme thing happened is i stayed in my car for entire night. Rooms are untidy & bed spreads pillows are worst. Then we took a triple occupancy AC Room, in that thwy kept only 1 liter water bottel. We asked the additional one. But they deniyed to provide & they charged rs.25 for a 1 liter water bottel. They are offering a compliementary breakfast. But it is not worth on it. AC water seepage in dining hall, ambience is not good, food quality is not fine. This is a worst experience for me & my friends. So dont attarct by its photos. Better we can stay in oyo rooms of lodges instead of selecting this INTERNATIONAL Udhayam.

I stayed on 04/11/2023. I checked in around 10pm. They charged me Rs. 3040 for triple room. Room number 304 Their AC is working when we checked in. But after some time cooling is not coming. We informed they came and changed the remote. Again after some time the same thing happened. Due to mid night we are tired and slept. Morning we say they say supervisor will come. They said breakfast included in rooms rate. Breakfast available till 10am. We came at 9.40am for breakfast. They provide buffet breakfast. In it they have dosa in menu. But they said dosa preparing person left so can't give. We went to nearby saravana Bhavan hotel and had breakfast. We checked out at 10.45am. Don't pay full amount while check in. They don't deserve the value of stay. Poor service by their team.
