Good hotel, close to the Meenakshi Temple. West gate is just 600 more away. Staff is nice. Rooms are Ok, not very great but ok compared to price. The hotel declined to honour checkout after 24hrs of checkin as mentioned during booking, but on multiple requets allowed to checkout 2 hrs late, is, 2 pm instead of 12 noon, though we checked in at 10:30 pm the previous night. AC was good, staff was good, room was not great, but ok, walls were full of damp and paint peeling out. But it was close to the Meenakshi temple, restaurants and shopping places.

Except location nothing is good...We saw pics in GoiBiBO and booked this...It's like a 40 yrs back cinema hall...N we were getting all smoking n unbearable smell... It's better name it as a poor lodge rather saying it a TIMES HOTEL...

The property is such a worst one. I stayed with my family for a day. The hotel itself is very old over 20 years old easily with worst rooms. The rooms are very worst and there are pigeons waste around the windows. No ventilation. I had issue with the AC at midnight and I called the attender , he was blaming me for the AC issue, worst staff behaviour. Although they changed the rooms later on, it was very bad that they have window AC next to your bed which hits you right on your face. The only plus is the location, which is 1km from temple. If you are looking for a peaceful and happy stay, do not book here.

Good hotel but a bit old style. located on road, just few minutes walking distance from Madurai railways station, also near to Meenakshi Amman Mandir. staff is also nice but language problem is a Issue.

Stayed there in a single room for one day. Budget friendly. Located within half kilometre from Meenakshi temple, railway station and periyar bus stand. They provided bed sheet, soap, hair shampoo and towel. Drinking water available. Staff were behaving in a good manner .parking space available. Lift available. Room service available. I didn't make use of it. Rooms are not maintained properly. One tap is broken. Taps, bath room door etc not clean properly. Since I stayed in single room, I cannot comment on double rooms and ac rooms

Actually there is no proper room. As we went as a family. No hot water in the room. if required we need to call the recipient and get it. The staff's behaviour is not good either. Due to an unavoidable situation i went to the hotel and asked for a room. Initially they gave us a single room. They collected money of 650 without the knowledge of the owner through their personal Gpay number. After 3 hrs they said if you want to stay pay an excess amount or vacate the room. We are ready to pay but they require only cash and forcefully make us leave the hotel but collected one day charge. They are giving the proper GST bill. Since the place is new to family member. They are asking ladies to go out and get the money from the ATM but they Got a Gpay scan code in the hotel.

I am a bachelor, was travelling solo, booked my stay here for a day and night. Room was quite small but was okay for me as i just need a place to sleep for that night. No ventilation so the room was smelling, there is a small window with a building on the other side, no much use of it. Toilet was not very clean and not bad either. Location of the hotel is perfect, railway station and Meenakshi amman temple are at walkable distance. If you are a solo traveller with limited budget and not much concerned about amenities and other things, then its okay to stay here for a day..otherwise, good luck.

overall good experience but the hotel needs to be improving much. the room we stayed in is newly renovated. a.c is working fine. but it was near to head on the bed which is not comfortable for sleep. it should be split ac.
