Hotel The Silk Route - Hotel in Jaisalmer, Kishan Ghat - Jaisalmer, India

Great hotel. Rooms were beautiful, especially considering we paid 10 euros per night. We ended up extending our stay from 2 to 6 nights. Great view of the fort from the terrace. Good location about 10 minutes walk to the fort. Dilip and Akbar are legends also! Made us feel at home. We went in a desert safari with Dilip which was an amazing experience. Also spent a day cooking and eating with him and his family. Such a memorable stay.

The best hotel in jaisalmer they feed us in such a lovly way . Very good hotel room clean and akbar bro very good person . He is very inteligent boy .

We stayed for 2 days in Jaisalmer and I must admit that the hotel was very pleasant clean calm and comfortable. The sunset and fort view from the top of the hotel was adorable. The food was also tasty and had a touch of home food. Staffs were very good at English so we didn't find it difficult to converse and also all the spots were just walkable from the hotel making it easy to sight seeing by walk. Overall a lovely 2days at Silk route.

Hotel location is very good, City view is very beautiful. Room size, cleaning, service is very good, staff behaviour is very polite. Food quality lovely, testy and simple with less oil, as eating in own house. Room tariff is reasonable, over all hotel is very satisfactory.

Worst Experience Ever!!! Not a reliable hotel!!! We booked 2 deluxe rooms with a Jaisalmer fort view. But the rooms were not available as someone paid more than us. Then what's the point of booking confirmation or room price they should do an auction. The hotel is located in an isolated place with only 7 rooms without any amenities that are mentioned. They only provide soap for hand washing and if you ask for anything else they will say no to your face. The cafe is below average with limited options. There is no proper chef you will find the receptionist cooking the food for you which will be without any seasoning.

Very nice and awesome hotel, ambience of hotel and rooms is great, location is little inside and is peacefull with fort in front, parking available inside property. The food they make is after taking order and is fresh and very delicious, home like. Hotel is small with 7-8 rooms only, recommend only deluxe 1000/- and balcony deluxe 1500/- rooms.

We loved this hotel! The owners are very helpful and organized for us a camel Safari and a night in the desert. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the restaurant on the roof has an amazing view. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is very nice. People are very helpful. The rooms are very clean and have nice interior. They have the facility for breakfast and have nice sitting arrangements where we can get the awesome view of the Jaisalmer fort.
