Really great property with amazing rooms. The staff is really friendly and supportive, and the owner is really sweet. Food is also really nice.

Staff services is very much poor. rooms towel bathrooms are not cleaned, staff are very rude, this is not good property Never ever visit again, and I request here with to MMT please dont refer this property to anyone bcz we are very disappointed for this...if option in 0 star i'll give 0 even -rating option i'll

The hotel can easily be located as it is at walking distance from the ISBT. The staff at reception is very much polite and enthusiastic. The rooms are good, the food is delicious, they have proper parking facility. Overall a good experience.

If you are paying 2000 plus and looking for hygiene and cleanliness, then this hotel is a strict no no. The hotel staff are bunch of shabby looking youngsters who are busy yapping among themselves, wearing all kind of funny and untidy dresses. There is no dress for hotel staff. Bed linen, towels are dirty. The staff was called and shown and was made to put a new bedsheets which too were sad in looks. Room furniture upholstery is full of dirty marks and lived their life. Room cleanliness is bad, one can see black dirt marks settled on corners because of untidy mopping. Bathroom is bad, with plumbings leaking or not functioning properly. Bathroom ceiling was broken. Hot water was always a problem. Even for cold water many times number 9 had to be dialled for them to switch on the pump to start the motor and fill the tank. AC was not blowing any air, when called, the staff came and checked, found the AC filters had choked because they had not been cleaned for ages. The footmats are soiled and dirty. Tea kit was without a tea spoon/stirrer, when asked the staff brought a big table spoon which then had to be used upside down!!! Overall the hotel is not worth it's tariff and deserves one star only. Better pay more and stay in a good hotel.

Stayed three times in The Sands during the same week on different dates. Stay was very pleasant... Hospitality of the front desk is appreciated. Housekeeping staff were good. However there were a few issues with bathroom like, faucet and sink tap not working properly, water clogging, commode lid broken, etc. Nevertheless had a good stay overall. I'm sure I'll think about The Sands when I come again to Dehradun. Thank you Stay was comfortable

It's overall a good maintained stay. Spacious rooms with restaurants nearby and a perfect location. What I didn't like is the big glass with no balcony, which gives a view of the roads and it's kind of visible from out as well, which you should be careful for your own privacy.

Amazing place to plan your stay. Well maintained and hygienic rooms. Food options are really good and was tasty too. Just one feedback, should also keep food packaging facility rather than just dine in. Overall, it was a perfect stay.
