Hotel The Legend - Hotel in Kanpur - Kanpur Nagar, India

The hotel is nothing as the name suggests. We stayed in the hotel for a week to attend a wedding function happening in the same venue in Jan 2023. The hotel rooms were very untidy and poorly maintained. No soap or towels were the highlights. All the water from washroom was coming out in the room. There were hell lot of issues in the hotel room and the service was pathetic, the attitude of the staff was too bad. After multiple complaints and requests the room got changed but still the new one was just bad from worse, not much of an upgrade. The hotel is only meant for wedding and other functions and rooms are only good for 4-5 hours stay not beyond that. Better to go for other options to stay if staying with family, else you won't have a good time there.

Overall, I had a great experience with The Legend. Staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Food was also very tasty and services were really really very quick. I would book this hotel again without hesitation. Thanks to the owner of this hotel for excellent recruitment of the staff.

I had a great experience in this hotel , i stay here every month for a week form last two years , staff are very helpful and care full, cleaning is to good . I recommend to all if you visit near kanpur or in kanpur must be stay here. Because property have enough space for parking and room also have good space with well maintain amenities .

Worst service. Manager has no etiquettes. He should be working somewhere in a dhaba at a lowest position the way he talks. Talking about policy like robots. Policies that holds no legal background. There is something wrong with this place. Services are terribly poor. These people judge you all the time. One of the worst hotel in kanpur. Worst.

I have hosted my younger brother's ring ceremony party in this hotel.The hall hotel room staff service all were perfect. The hotel manager Mr. Anmol Bedi was very helpful to us.

The clear reason : COUPLE STAY Will definitely go with consumer forum, as there is no legal reason for not let us to stay. You guys listed yourself with MAKE MY TRIP. You are responsible for their actions. And policies are made for a reason. Thrown out of reception does not come in any kind of policy. The valid reason : you did not let us into the room. Threw us out like we were some kind of beggers. I hope your cameras work. Hotel legend and it's manager and one guy named Rahul malhotra is a total fraud. Do remember to not book this hotel from makemytrip.They will find a reason and throw you out of reception with their non refundable policy. Apparently they have a policy . No refunds. Understood. So I booked this hotel and they do not allow locals. First thing I do not get it. Why ? For what reason? I went to hotel , and they said you are local , will not give you room . I said okay then give me my money. So they were like you did not pay to us. You paid make my trip. Ask from them. Again fine. I asked to make my trip and they said , the manager is adamant to not to give refund although he got it from us. I paid around 4000, this was my hard earned money. My home was locked. I could not go anywhere . At one point i begged their manager Nitin singh to give my money as I did not stay , you just threw me out from the reception. They kept repeating local I'ds are not allowed. What does it even mean. Say locals are not allowed. And if not allowed then give money so that I can go to some other hotel. Manager was adamant and was very rude to me. I just want to file some case in consumer forum. This is not right at all.

Actually it's a marriage venue extended for hotel service. Rooms are spacious and have nice interiors. Buffet breakfast. breakfast items need to improve. overall good experience. good luck for their endeavours.

Except the delay in food service other things were great like room ambiance and staff. Would definitely recommend.
