NEVER go to this bad hotel. In all the years we are travelling around the whole world we never had experienced something like this, this hotel and really bad taxi driver ruined our first impression of India. After all we should not have trusted the taxi driver at the airport which was "calling" with our booked hotel, and told us there where 2 covid cases so we couldn't arrive at our booked hotel. After a long night flight we were stupid that we agreed with the option to visit Hotel The Grand Shoba which was known by our taxi driver. The room looked "acceptable" but the price was pretty high. Our phones network didnt worked, so we agreed with a discount and knowing it was only for 1 night. I asked for Wifi but only could get it on the room. With a little bad feeling we checked in. After reaching the room including Wifi, reading all the bad SCAM reviews we immediately checked out. The bad staff didn't feel sorry for the expierence. I told them that they are destroying the first experience for tourists and are a shame for the rest of the beautiful people in India which we may not trust anymore.. We got the half of our money back with a discussion and went to our booked hotel. Happily the rest of the people in India were amazing and they felt sorry for this first Delhi experience. Radisson Blue at the end was 1000000 times better and around the same price.

DONT STAY HERE. ITS A SCAM. I had booked another hotel and the cab driver told me the hotel is quite far and inside the galli so he can't take us there. I didn't had sim as I had a Nepali passport and even though I didn't want to go there he took me there kinda forcefully and the rate was just so high. Way too high. I had paid 3k for two night in my original hotel but here I had to pay 3500 per night. The room service was pathetic, staffs at the front desk were very rude. They literally cheat you every chance you get. Stay away from such hotels and such cab drivers. No matter what, if you have booked the hotel in advance, please do go there and don't get fooled by such cab drivers words. He ruined my whole experience.

Scam Scam!! Stay away from this hotel and airport taxi drivers who insists you to take this hotel. Do not stay here. They will ask for very high prices(5 stars cost) for a basic room. Taxi driver will leave you in middle of night at this hotel. Very unsafe place for family.

STAY AWAY - TAxI SCAM Hotel participates in criminal activity with taxi scammers. Taxi driver on the way from the airport to your booked hotel pretends to call your hotel, In fact he calls somebody else who tells you that your booked hotel has sudden outbreak of COVID. Then driver offers alternative hotel where the prices is triple to what is should be for location and quality. This hotel is run by criminals who will rob you on anything you will be willing to take from them. Taxi to airport was 600

It is near to airport and the prices are less, but the rooms are too dirty and smell, no proper maintenance. A/C never works in rooms.

It's a SCAM!! DON'T STAY HERE!!! They scam people at the airport, cab driver picks you up, tells you your hotel is too far, takes you here.... They then charge you 10 times the advertised price and insist that's their normal price, it's a 3 star hotel, Radisson round the corner is 5 star and 30% of the cost!!!! And absolutely stunning. Whatever you do, don't stay in this hotel, unfortunately, this time they scammed the wrong person, my office will be reporting them to the high commission along with all relevant authorities, the owners of the sites listing them are also personal friends. P.s. I am almost certain all 5 star reviews are fake, it's not "just wow" - top tip, always read lowest star reviews first.

Not a good experience. We were also kidnapped by a cab driver and eventhough this was not our initial choice he forcefully got us there. The behavior of the reception staff was also very cunning. He wanted only cash payment eventhough there was card reader and gpay mode. We were lucky enough to get us a new cab and choose a more affordable hotel nearby with good facilities. The location also has no other hotels nearby.. so most of us will choose it.. Do not accept such cab drives and go for a few hours stay at this hotel.

The manager told me to my face "We are not here for your thank you, we are a business", I get it but like what? 1st time for me. After I was grateful I could get a refund and thanked him. I then told him I was not thanking him but the hotel owner for understanding our situation. Yup, don't thank the chubby manager with the moustache. Also advice, don't giggle like little girls when you have guests. Other staff were good and prompt to request. Won't ever go to this hotel again though.
