Hotel The Daanish Residency - Hotel in New Delhi, Delhi - Central, India

Everything about this so called hotel is less than 1 star. The actual rooms are nowhere near the photos described as the hotel is very old, dirty and crumbled. There is scrap everywhere and surrounding area is also noisy, dusty. The hotel is bearable for short day stays and it will be dreadful for overnight stays. Book only if you have no other option. The reception is also not flexible or accommodating. We had booked for 8 am to 2 pm. We arrived at 7:30 pm as our bus dropped early. But reception made us wait till 8 am even when we wanted to checkout by 10 am!

It is very near to Metro Station. But rooms are small. Cleanliness is not maintained at all. Smell of cigarette from other rooms was entering in our room. May be cheapest for the area. Some families were also staying there. Not a very good experience. They didn't give packaged water.

Booked room by looking at the pictures uploaded by makemytrip and in pictures room looked pretty decent. But after reaching we saw room was in its worst condition, it was not clean and when we asked for water they provided us tap water, it was most unhygienic hotel. The size of room did not match with the size mentioned while booking from makemytrip site and pictures. Washroom was dirty and shower was working properly. We booked the room at Rs2500 but after seeing the room it's actual worth should be around Rs500-800. This cheap marketing trick was not expected by makemytrip. And thereafter I wouldn't prefer other site's first for booking. By uploading fake pictures makemytrip has down graded their own brand name.... . I booked one Deluxe room for my stay and I regreted the moment I entered in the room. Room was so small like a matchbox. It was in very bad condition and so stinky as well. Washroom are the worst part of the room as I was very untidy , water blockage problem was there and also shower was not working. They dont even have door bell for that room. Overall I dont like the look and feel of the property as they are not maintaining it properly and also dusty everywhere. However the staff was professional.

When you call this hotel, the guy on the call doesn't know how to talk to people, he is literally very rude and mannerless. I asked him if you can provide a discount on the quoted price, and he said free mein hi de deta hu ya apko paise de deta hu mai yhaan rhne k. Is this the way someone talks to a guest. In a country where we say "Atithi devo bhava" this guy has no sanskaar at all. Please change your staff.

This is my 3 rd stay in this hotel. As usual their standard service excellent. Staff are very friendly. Food quality of kitchen improved a lot. I also mention the name of Mr Dwarika Yadav. Manager who is a nice person and very helpful. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Major advantage of this hotel is that Metro stn... Railway stn.... Market.. are all nearby. Korolbagh area is peaceful and safe even in late night.

I stayed there for 2 days and below are my points as on 19 Dec 2022 -1. Location - Walking distance from Karol Bagh metro station and Market.2. Room - Room was clean - Bed-sheet was clean - It was a Spring Mattress and was pretty comfortable. - Room had a kettle and a Fridge3. Washroom - Washroom was clean and with good Ventilation. - There is No Geyser but you can call reception for Hot water, They have a common solar water heater.4.Wifi has a good Speed.5. Food - I didn't tried because there are lots of cafes nearby to eat 6. Staff - Very polite staff and serve you well with smile.Overall I liked the Hotel and my stay was pleasant.I booked it through Goibibo The above points are based on my own experience and its about the room I was staying.
