The food is good and tasty, but the only problem is they add soda powder for all their dishes. Which is really bad.after having lunch your gut is gone for a toss and really you don't feel like eating till the next day. I hope you take is review and please stop doing it.
My go to place for North Karnataka / South indian food ! As a French national, this place was one of the first ones I went to in Bengaluru and since day one I am a weekly loyal customer
Authentic north Karnataka meals. Quick service, banana leaf type meal. For lunch go early say at least by 1 pm, otherwise it may be crowded. My overall rating 5/5 is based on consistency, value for money over 3-4 times we have been here.
You can come here for a simple, no-nonsense meal. Their full Thali (Rs120/-) with Jowar roti is nearly impossible for one person to finish. No overdo of masala or oils. You can eat here every day. However, the place is like a tin-made warehouse and not very convenient in summer afternoons.
Absolutely amazing food. Must try if you're around the area. It's a simple place, yummy, hygienic, healthy and affordable. We randomly walked into the place with a group of 4 friends looking for a quick lunch and absolutely did not expect the food to be that good. Will visit the place again when we're in Bangalore. P.S : do try out their Condensed milk dessert (kova) and ubbattu.
Food was ok, it is better than office canteen! ;) it's a mess. The place is very hot I.e. Head radiation is too much because the roof is made of tin sheets!!! Service is not fast, since they have less staff got to wait for them to be free to serve! The prices are offeredable too, not bad. First time when I visited I paid Rs. 85 with pretty good items on the plate, in office canteen they charge Rs. 70 with ready-made chapati and less items than here. They have few variety to choose from. Taste is not bad, ok. Chapati, Rotti etc... are made fresh there. I took half rice but quantity was like full rice! I couldn't finish it, so half rice is recommended. They can introduce few more side food items for lunch like for example bomdas, Vadis, variety papads etc... maybe they have I guess. At the cash counter, you can see some sides for breakfast, I guess those would be tactful. Overall, good escape food joint from office canteen... ;)
Probably one of the best north Karnataka style hotel in HSR Layout. Have tasted several hotels and restaurant but none of it came close to hotel Tanish when it comes about taste. Clean and neatly maintained
Food is tasty. Service is poor and getting worse over time as the crowd increases. The place is with plastic chairs with no interior design, but very neat.

Great experience! Food was delicious. We had a mix of both veg and non veg and everything tasted amazing! The service was great and the host shared a lot of history and stories about the food. We had a whole room to ourselves so the kids got to play
Visited this place for lunch that includes unlimited ragi mudde (ragi balls), rice, sambar, rasam, palya, butter milk, pickle and limited papad and costs Rs 120. They serve hot, soft ragi mudde and unique way of serving. Mudde, butter milk tastes gre
Amazing restaurant with a unique concept of exploring the regional dishes of Karnataka. We are much more familiar with North Indian food, but were excited to try cuisine local to Bangalore. The server helped us pick dishes that went together, and we
Best hotel for uttar kannada foods. Main USP is the cost. Cost is too affordable by anyone. Taste is good , quantity is more than enough. Well maintained, place is clean and good.
Awesome Karnataka traditional Thali served on banana leaves. Food quality is very good and delicious. For single special Thali price is 250/- but worth it. Must visit
This place is iconic with its tasty North Karnataka kanavali style food. You get chapati Jowar rotti meals with White rice and palov, curd rice buttermilk in summer. This place is usually known with vegitarians for Meals and dinner , Mirchi served he
