This was really a good stay for us and better than our expectation from a govt. run hotel. Ample parking, big kid's area with lots of playing equipment. The rooms were old fashioned but maintained and sizes were big. Balcony could have been cleaned or netted as pigeons were there in balcony and made the balcony a bit dirty. Breakfast and dinner were really good and staff behaviors were also good.

More than what I expected from a govt. run hotel. Food was ok, service was good. Rooms are spacious with old style lock and keys, there were some visible stains on bed though manageable. Ample parking, kids play area, few birds, lifts, reception seating area, all maintained well.

For a state government run place, I was really surprised by the hygiene, maintenance, and service by staff. Price is on par with a 3 star hotel. King and queen suite rooms are available as well. Has a nice play area for kids. Clean party halls for family functions.

Visited this Hotel to stay and attend an event inside itself only. They have nice entrance and parking place. Found a hall for conducting events, nice place to dining and separate restaurant. Food Quality was well, they have bar inside and cost of items are okay along with room services. Their room was okay with comfortable bed but the rag could be better in terms of comfort. Room Charges seemed a little higher than they offered. Behavior of the staff members were professional and helpful. I have not found shampoo pouches in the toilet of my booked room which was AC Deluxe Double Bed Single Occupancy, had western toilet but a little uncomfortable due to basin area just in front of that toilet pot. I found Queen's and King's Suites which were luxurious and expensive obviously. They had open space for party and events as well. Overall Nice hotel to stay.

Booked rooms for our guests, but they gave away our rooms to some political type and we had to scramble to find other accommodations for our out of town guests. What is the point of reservations if they can give the rooms away. A lousy place by any standard. Completely outdated, and the front office staff was completely unhelpful. If I could give half a star, I would.

Stayed here briefly for a few hours today. The rooms are spacious neat and tidy. Linen provided were very neat and clean. They served complimentary breakfast. The restaurant staff were serving with a smile on lips. Quality of food needs improvement. The service personnel were quite courteous. The AC in the room could not be turned on. On account of these two points I have rated it 4 stars. Ample parking space, play area for children is also available.

Third class hotel, don't go here my daughter bymistake paid the amount twice and they did not refund even after showing all proofs very bad experience don't go here

One is pleasantly surprised with the spic and span of a government property. Well maintained infrastructure, ample parking, children's park and three halls. Well mannered and helpful staff Location is very strategic, 10 minutes from Maattuthavani bus stand, 35 mns drive to the railway station and a 45 mns drive to the airport. Quite neighbourhood. Very good Complimentary breakfast. Idli, vada, oothappam, sweet and wash it off with coffee or tea. One can pay if they need other items. It may help to have some fruits. Rooms are decent, clean bed sheets and rooms cleaned as per guests request. Internet connection may be a challenge in the rooms but available at the reception area. Being a government property be prepared to witness top government officials, politicians and their paraphernalia. At times it can be overwhelming. Ongoing exhibitions, medical camps within the property is an added attraction.
