Hotel Swarnachuda - Hotel in Balasore - Baleshwar, India

I was staying last10 years in hotel swarnachuda and staff was nice person now room was neat and clean .

Went for lunch. Took 1 hour 30 minutes to take the order and serve the food. The vegetarian food is below average in taste. 90percent of dessert s in the menucard are unavailable. The table cloths are very dirty and ACs are not working.A pathetic experience.

This is a waste of money if u stay here. As rooms are not clean properly. U can see insects in rooms. And mostly the rooms are over budget. Please try to avoid to stay here. Only the location is good. All others are worst.

Rooms are big in size, but bedsheets and other itineraries are not good enough. Bathroom walls are not very clean

I have mixed reviews for this hotel. On the positive side it has very cheap rooms. Though cheap, it had a decently large room with AC, TV which worked properly. It had an elevator and plenty of room to park your car. Staffs were helpful too. Food was cheap, though not tasty. They even serve bed tea by as early as half past six, if you request for it. On the negative side, the bathroom had blackened floors, with severe watermarks on mirrors. The tap in my room (#215) bathroom basin used to rotate when you try to open or close it. The bathroom door did not close properly from inside. The wardrobe was large yet very filthy, towels dirty & smelling. And yes, if you stay in the eastern wing and try to hit the bed early, rest assured that all the sound of commotion coming from outside is nothing but just the friendly noise of the innocent alcohol lovers from the adjacent bar located in the same property and they will move away by midnight.

Well the outside of the hotel is good so does the inside but the rooms are not good in my opinion. Extra charges are taken for Extra pillows or for changing bed cover. Lift is there. The location is good as it is near the station but nothing is there to see near the hotel.Medicine shops are present so does the grossery shops+fastfood+restuarants. Most things are available near the hotel but the visiting place is there for trip.

The rooms were pretty old. The amenities were lacking as well. There was no geyser, no wifi, no AC, a TV from the 90's. The mattress and bed were not very comfortable either. The food was decent. The room and the washroom were decent sized with good hygiene and running water.
